We were so excited that Isaak’s was open again for the season, but were turned away due to having members of our party who were under 18.
Please know before you drive any distance to get here, that children will not be served at all-it’s a bar and casino now not a restaurant. I figured that it would be ok as long as we weren’t seated in the bar; it wasn’t.
Also note, there are fewer tables now, which will likely mean a longer wait if you are looking to eat and not just drink and gamble.
Like the previous reviewer said, we are unlikely to return, even without kids.

Beyond disappointed they decided to sell out and replace community and family with trashy gambling machines. Came in and were told to leave because we had a little one. It is now only 18+ allowed in the restaurant. Will never return, even without the kids after fishing trips. Family was never a problem before…What happened???

Kid-friendliness: None allowed!

Really not impressed. I’ve had better meals at Applebees 🤦‍♂️. The owner is a real peace of work also. Came to my table to hit on my wife and young daughter. I was honestly disgusted especially considering the time I spent and the gas I wasted driving out here. I would not recommend and I will not be back!

Don't eat here, they can't handle it. Can't hang onto staff and Chef can't handle cooking by himself. Plus his smoked meat tastes awful. I would suggest Stonefly Grill, Lazy-I, or Missouri River Grill in the canyon.

I first called to see if I needed a reservation. I was told first come first served. No problem. Drove out to Craig to find out the bar was only open. No problem we would wait. I ear the male bartender tell another customer that the dinning room would only be used for kids and people that are disabled. I tell him that my husband is disabled vet and he looks at me and replies "I am sure he says the same about you". Laughs at me and walks away. I should have left then. We stood for a few more minutes and I asked if we could at least sit at a table so my husband could get off of his feet while we wait. (The seats outside were already taken). The male bar tender said no. I asked if we could order food to go. He tells me that there is only one cook and his would lose his mind doing an order to go. We left.
One, when I called for reservations it would have been nice to know the bar was only open.
Two, the disrespect and rudeness of the male bartender was unacceptable! Especially, when I told him about my husband.
Three, if your cook is that sensitive about cooking. Find a new cook.

Great food. I just wish the service was better. But would stop in again when in town.

Never been in the restaurant. But recently, I parked at the parking lot in front of the restaurant for a minute to inspect my vehicle, and this grumpy crusty old geezer comes out of the restaurant and started chewing us out because we parked there. He stated, “I’m not trying to be a jerk but you can’t park there all day. We’re open but you can’t park there all day.” From looking at the past comments obviously this crusty white-haired old man is a problem for this business and probably frustrating and scaring everyone away.

FYI, we went to the Craig’s Taphouse to eat and drink over there since they run a decent business with excellent customer service, unlike this establishment.

The public needs to be aware of this toxic business.

I never miss a chance to have Waleye Fish And Chips. 12 years running.

Probably one of the worst burgers I’ve ever had, don’t let the prices make you think it’s good food.

My party of 6 were seated at a table that sat 10...Friends that we didn't know we're showing up, arrived just after we were seated. We had not even had our drink orders taken. My friends wanted to sit with us but the waitress told us no...policy all people in the party must be present when seated. So they gave our friends a different table. Really smart business plan....they could have seated other people at the table and had more business that day. Clearly the business is managed by employees and not the owners. The managers bad attitude shows thru at this place.
