Blacktail Station Steak House

During my visit to town, I've made it a mission to try a different restaurant each night, and I have to say, this place truly stands out. I was blown away by how delicious the food was and how friendly the service felt. The shrimp wontons and steak sandwich were absolutely to die for. Thank you for this wonderful experience—I can’t wait to return soon!

Atmosphere was great, waitress was also great. She even made us a shot that I found from a couple that do mixed drinks and shots on line. The food was perfect.

Quiet little spot in the basement of a bar. Great atmosphere .. lots of old energy. Long standing steakhouse .. in a very old, historic building.Excellent service. Food was served hot and fresh. Fresh salad. Hamburger buns are locally made from MT grain. Locally sourced beef.Definitely a must visit.

Excellent food, excellent staff and great ambiance! Highly recommend if you are living or visiting Dillon Montana. And ask for Gracie! She is a delightful young woman!

The restaurant is somewhat old but the food and service compensated. The decor has probably never been updated but we were ok with that. Kyia was stellar and treated us like royalty! We both had the prime rib and it was cooked to perfection. Mushrooms were heavenly. Baked potatoes were truly loaded down with the good stuff. Drinks spot on. Thanks for the wonderful meal!!!

I loved it! I recommend not going here during Rodeo, incredibly crowded and loud upstairs. But its peaceful downstairs if your willing to wait.

We came here to eat while visiting Dillion. Never again!!! The drinks were good, the chicken qusadilla was amazing and that is where it ends. I ordered the carbonara with chicken, (I love spicy food) this was so spicy I couldn't eat it, no garlic bread but an old roll that was gross as well. My husband ordered the fish and chips, they both tasted like OLD oil and just completely saturated. We could have fried more fish with what was on the plate. We said something to the waitress/bartender and she just got our bill. No sorry let me make it right, but listened to her tell a coworker that was sitting at the bar drinking about us complaining about the food and laughed about it. I would not recommend. At all!!
