Good service and decent food, but the prices are absurd.

Great old school bar with comfort food and strong simple drinks. Great place to relax after a day on the river.

the steak had so much fat on it and it was unseasoned the worst steak in dillon MT customer we're yelling loud it was awful

Fun place. Sat in bar. Wife had prime rib and it was delicious. Would recommend. I had fried chicken sandwich, would not recommend. Should have got burger or steak as we are in cattle country. My bad. Will be back and recommend

This is not going to be that helpful in deciding where to eat but please don’t eat here..the staff are kind and thoughtful and I’m sure happy with the tips… the food is overpriced on a level that makes absolutely no sense .. it is just pure greed and taking advantage of the idiots willing to pay these prices. No thanks and no in general.. please support your local mom and pop joints that are not trying to retire prematurely at the cost of the community they are supposed to serve.

I took my boyfriend Alan Bechtle, to the black tail restaurant last year for his birthday.. We had the prime rib. Delicious!!!

First off, our server was wearing shorts. I realize its a casual atmosohere but in my opinion, he should be wearing pants in a restaurant. We ordered: calamari strips, fish n chips and the chicken burger with the add-on of bacon and jalapenos. All dishes were absolutely delicious! However,
the server forgot to put the fish and chips in as an order so the calamari and burger came first. He advised he would give us a discount. Server came and asked if we were ready for a ticket.
I (the female of the couple) said yes. He proceeded to bring the ticket, sat it by my husband. I took it and went up to pay at the bar. He took my bank card and disappeared. That is the first time I have ever had my bank card taken away to process payment! A couple minutes passed and I realized he had taken the ticket and my bank card and put it on the table by my husband. I went and got it and went back to the bar. I noticed he didn't give us a discount for forgetting to order part of our dinner. He fidgeted around, recruited some assistance, reimbursed my card, gave me $5 off our meal and charged my card again. Now, that in my opinion is terrible, discriminatory service. A female comes to the bar to pay the ticket, deal with her not disappear with her bank card and then return it to the table where the man sits!!!!! Terrible!!!!
Again, the food was amazing! Just feel this server needs some guidance on how to dress and how to serve customers accordingly.
