I can’t remember how good the food was when I had it 5 years ago, but the kitchen staff takes a break on Wednesdays and Thursdays (at least in late September) and they have a food truck outside serving burgers and brats.We stopped by on a Wednesday around 4pm and sat at the bar. Around this time of year, it seems it’s mostly locals that come in. The bartender and the regulars are super friendly. If you order a cocktail, don’t expect anything to be measured out here. They are very loosey-goosey here. While the bar is decently stocked, I think most locals drink their liquor neat. I lived in Bozeman for over a year and I never had such a genuine Montana experience. That being said, I don’t think most progressives would appreciate the clientele and their candor.“
