Logan was a great server. Very helpful and friendly. Sheri checked on us as well. Queso is a must! Fish and chips with slaw was so good. Pulled pork sandwich was so yummy. You can't go wrong.
Don’t come here for the food, which is mediocre at best. Examples: the enchiladas come with black beans from a can that weren’t even rinsed let alone cooked. The queso was made from scratch—and the roux not cooked long enough, so it tasted like flour. The “red coconut curry” was veggies from a freezer bag and salad bag (peas and carrots overcooked, broccoli raw) in a dubious sauce with curry powder. We just got into town for a week and stopped into the Gravel Bar to eat. We were greeted immediately by the hostess and she was extremely friendly and polite.
Our waitress was working behind the bar and she came right over to our table to say hi and bring water. She was friendly, cheerful, and very fast with our drinks and food. We enjoyed having her wait on us. She recommended the Scotch Ale and it was an amazing dark beer! SO delicious!!!
