Yesterday's Soda Fountain and Restaurant

Ordered a PLAIN pancake, took over 30 minutes(it was busy) then wound up with a CHOCOLATE
CHIP pancake! ,'Aiden' apologised but I just wanted a plain pancake. Like the Olde atmosphere of an old soda fountain but no soda fountain to use??? Nice assortment of items in the farmacy.

What a lovely lunch spot. I was pleasantly surprised that they offer delicious sandwiches with gluten free bread. Very tasty! Prices were reasonable as well.

Best breakfast in Ennis! Pancakes are thin and crispy on the outside, unlike any other pancake I’ve ever had. Biscuits and gravy are flavorful. Not the fastest spot but worth it!

They wouldn't let me do my job properly. They fired me unjustly. They weren't very friendly to work for. The food wasn't that great. The employers were unfriendly and ungrateful.

Reassured for 35 minutes to sit. Then waited for almost an hour for our food, when other people ordered after us, had their food, ate and left already. Plus the guys was just so, so

Travelling through the town and decided we would have some breakfast. We waited in line to be seated for half an hour (a group of six was ahead of us) although there were 3 open tables that could have fit us 2. It looked completely unorganized and ran very poorly; no acknowledgement of us standing there even with eye contact made. A lady walked in behind us and the clerk at the desk took her name down but didn’t take our name down, and when it came time for seating, they sat her before us and tried telling us that she was there first. I guess Locals get special treatment here? We decided to leave after that situation as it was unethical and we went to Gravel Bar. It was so great at Gravel Bar and fabulous customer service.

Our dining experience did not disappoint. We enjoyed a delicious chicken sandwich and a flavorful Southwest hamburger, while our kids were pleased with their tasty cheeseburgers. The lemonade was a hit among the little ones, perfectly complementing the crispy fries and well-prepared burgers.

The food at Yesterday’s is not just good; it’s delicious, leaving both kids and adults satisfied. This spot beautifully blends the nostalgia of a classic soda fountain with the efficiency of modern dining, making it a must-visit when you’re in Ennis.

We have eaten here for 10+ years. In the last 2 years it has changed. We liked it here because you could get breakfast or lunch daily. The menu now changes to a minimal breakfast menu at lunchtime. We experienced a long wait for our food. They were out of bacon, sourdough, and more items. My husband's eggs and hashbrowns were unappealing. The hashbrowns were not cooked well. The chicken in my sandwich was pink. The chocolate shake had a funky taste. It is sad to see a wonderful friendly place turn into yet another bad restaurant.

Great spot for a bite to eat! We took a Sunday morning motorcycle ride over to Ennis and stopped by for fry bread and camaraderie before returning to the road.
