As far as a quick bite for burgers and fries, it was a good stop and had the Ma and Pa vibe. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 is because the bison burger was good but a little dry as was the chicken on the chicken salad. But the chicken salad, was huge, so I wasn't as upset about paying the $21.95 for it as I was at first. It's not like there's a ton of restaurants in Gardiner, so choices are small, and this is a pretty good one that won't completely...
I had such a great experience at The Corral in Montana! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming — a perfect mix of cozy and lively. The staff truly made the visit memorable. The cashier was friendly and efficient, greeting us with a smile and making everything smooth right from the start. The runners were equally impressive — attentive, quick, and always making sure our table had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.

The food at this place is highly overrated. I realize we may have been there on an “off” night, but my fries were soggy and inedible. The burger was overcooked and the bun was mushy- they ought to include cheese for the price. We had cheese curds which were good. The best thing about it is the outdoor dining area which is large and very pleasant. I did not try the ice cream but it looked good.
