Came here on the night of August 9th and the bartender was terrible. It wasn’t just my table — I noticed other customers having the same issues. The bar wasn’t even busy, yet we got no drink refills, no silverware, and no napkins. He completely forgot about the tables he was serving, and when it came time to pay, we had to walk up to the bar ourselves just to settle the bill.
For the prices they charge for food here, I expected way better service. Honestly, I made a bad choice coming here — should’ve gone to the Antler Pub & Grill instead.

We walked in at 9:45 and were told “we aren’t serving food anymore”, as there are people being seated ahead of us. Their sign says “Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner”. The jerk of a dude at the counter with the crooked teeth, backwards hat and glasses, said, I have a recommendation of a restaurant called “The Yellowstone ‘Something’”…. Okay… well 95% of the businesses in this town are called Yellowstone ‘Something’. I then said, “so you’re recommending something that you don’t know the name of?!” He then proceeds to get very crappy and tell me that we need to “get out of here, we don’t want your business anyway.” You want a successful business?! You’re not going to get it if you’re not serving food, or if you’re being a complete jerk, buddy. Good luck keeping your business afloat.
Brian was a excellent bartender. Spinach artichoke dip was excellent. Drink prices were very reasonable

Excellent food, service, vibe. Visiting from Michigan. We had the wings, chic Caesar wrap, and chili. Good was excellent. Bartender was busy but still attentive. I don’t understand the poor reviews here

We wondered in and thought we hit the jackpot. Our 1st bartender was friendly, attentive and made a great drink. Our replacement Dana was unhappy with being at work or unhappy with waiting on ladies I'm not sure.We were polite and said thank you EVERYTIME she came to the table she acted like she was deaf and said NOTHING. I really wanted to leave a 1 but your establishment didn't deserve that. You have a great establishment and I hope this was an off night.

Date of Experience: May 30, 2025
To the Owner, from a Fellow Business Owner:
I wanted to share feedback regarding my recent visit to your bar. While I genuinely enjoy the atmosphere and typically have a great time at your establishment, my experience on the evening of May 30th was disappointing and worth bringing to your attention.
At around 11:30 PM, the bar was lively — the pool area was full with at least 25 patrons- the bar was busy. Despite the clear demand, the bartender on duty began informing every incoming group that it was last call, stating the bar would close at 12:00 AM. Guests were asked to close out their tabs, even those still actively enjoying their time, including people playing slots. We overheard the bartender advising patrons that beer and wine could be purchased at the nearby gas station instead.
A group near us mentioned that the early closure was due to only one bartender being scheduled. While I completely understand the challenges of being short-staffed, most patrons are patient and respectful when they know one person is managing the floor. It was clear that many guests were willing to wait for service, and at least six people who arrived just before midnight were turned away, despite the bar being advertised as open until 2:00 AM.
Additionally, my husband asked about using the TouchTunes system, and the bartender responded with a story about it not working and the provider threatening to remove the machine due to lack of use. However, the night prior, another bartender had the system running with no issues.
I share this feedback not to complain, but in the interest of helping maintain the positive reputation your bar has built. The environment is great, but this particular interaction with your staff member didn’t reflect the standard of service we’re accustomed to.

A decent restaurant and pub (one of the best in Gardiner, we're told). We had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, which wasn't an issue, as they have a pub/bar that is a great little watering hole.
The food was average, but the services was great.
The pub itself was very lively and a lot of fun. Certainly a good place for a night out.

Got out of the park late. Got to Gardiner about 10pm. Rusty Nail was the only place we knew that was open. Had some huge jumbo wings, fries, and cold beer.
