Haven't been in to the rusty rail in about 3 years. It was good to catch up with a few people I know. Aside from that they brought wings back on them menu from when I left and they are killer. I wanted to order a 2nd plate but thankfully I held back.

Cool little place but when I got lunch went back to work hour after eating lunch I got food poisoning really really bad could not work for 5 days couldn't keep nothing down would not recommend eating there

The food was great. I don’t eat meat but they had a black bean burger that didn’t fail in the least to provide the same country feel.
The vibe is also very rustic like old saloon type and kudos to the bartender dude with the short hair who keeps everything under control with it being so busy

I never leave reviews but our dinner at the Rusty Rail was delicious. The trout was perfect and everyone else loved the elk chili. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend when staying in Gardiner.

Amazing service, food and atmosphere. Due to our waiters suggestion we both ordered the blacken trout which was incredible. We also ordered an additional side salad and had street corn dip with chips as an appetizer. Everything was exceptional and full of flavor. I highly recommend the Yellowstone Mine as a place to relax and enjoy good food after a long day in the park.

I drank my whole glass and wad not offered more. The service was extremely slow. Our server told us that one cook walked out. My husband's bison burger was good but not great. My salad was not good. The artichoke dip was the best thing we ate. Our server only came to our table once to check on us. The table next to us was so loud that we could not have a conversation. Their server kept them well supplied with alcoholic beverages.
