This is a rustic place to eat where they tried to upscale the food and the price. They had hearty dishes for a premium price. Food is average. Ambiance is pretty good. Went late on Sunday night and were referred here by another restaurant.

The ambience and menu are really good. Unfortunately, what is on the menu is not served on the plate. The fries were so salty and we waited a long time for the waitress to order. After that, the service didn't show up for ages. Absolutely untypical for the country. Prices were just as good as the fries 🤣 Luckily there are plenty of other options to eat in the area...

Basically had dinner in the restaurant. Food was mediocre at best. We were told we could spin a wheel in the bar area to win a prize, we abliged and entered the bar area where a free beer was won on a spinning wheel. We proceeded to having a conversation with a couple about politics in which the the couple was engaged and like minded. A female bartender who was eves dropping on our conversation stated that politics and religion could not be discussed at the bar. We were asked to leave the bar and that we would no longer be served. We had not ordered drinks and had only had the free beer that was won while in the bar. The bartender got the manager from the restaurant we had just eaten in and the manager told us we'd need to vacate the bar as the bar had rules of not speaking politics or religion. This is a disgusting display of Americans not being entitled to their first ammendment rights and being bullied. As a patron I would never frequent an establishment that would negate my personal beliefs especially whole in private conversations while being threatened. Overall a horrible experience. As patrons of the adjoining hotel the Ridgeline a complaint filed with management an apology was given and further investigation will follow as nobody no matter your political affiliation should be judged. Hoping this is hacked accordingly and that employees know their place as it's the very patrons that keeps establishments as such up and running.

We ate twice at this restaurant next to our hotel. Great service, home cooking with typical American dishes: meatloaf, chicken pie, chilli!
I recommend this address.

Excellent food, good quality. A bit understaffed when it was busy. But the food was better than I expected and read from the reviews here.

Overpriced. Bad service. The food was OK. I got meatloaf (fancied up) and mashed potatoes which were good but wouldn't order that again because it wasn't great. My husband got a bison burger and fries. He didn't eat all of the burger and said the fries were not good so he didn't finish them either. How do you mess up fries? We both got the chili and it was good. Just needed salt. The thing that was so negative was that we stood at the hostess stand for several mins waiting to be seated and were not acknowledged in any way by the man who ended up being our server. He must've been putting an order in. I understand if he thinks it isn't his job to seat us but he should've said something like someone will be with you shortly. He completely ignored us even though he was 3 feet from us and there were no other people around. We were about to leave when the hostess came back from somewhere and sat us at the worst table there (cramped with no cute lantern light like the others and view obstructed by a large beam right at the table). We were moved at our request because there was a much better table open in the same section (several were open actually). Our server, the man that ignored us, was not friendly. He did not bring our drinks and we had to ask for them after our food had arrived. To end on a positive note...the atmosphere was really great. The place had a cool vibe to it. We were glad something was open.

I wasn't going to comment but....Bartender ver nice. Got our Football game on but we went to the bar for every beer and to oder food. We were the only table in restaurant. 5 people at bar. When we got appetizer had to ask for plates and silverware. Found our own napkins. Asked for tomato juice, got climatology. Asked for tomato was told they didn't have that. Why wouldn't u just say that? My service to myself was amazing. The sign said seat yourself and bartender will be right with you. I'm disappointed

This place has a lot of nerve offering an absolutely disgusting Chicken Pot Pie for 23$. It was inedible at any price. Canned peas, canned carrots, canned chicken, with a gravy I can't even describe plus a sad bisquit topping. Like vomit in a bowl. One of the worst meals I have ever been served.

Friendly staff, good selection, good value if you're hungry! My kids and I went twice for the breakfast buffet - once at 8am and once at 9am. It's like a good free hotel breakfast on steroids. Fruit, cereal, oatmeal, bagels/bread, eggs and all standard breakfast meats, a potato option or two. Lot of juice/milk/coffee options. I'd DEFINITELY recommend it for people with kids! They'll love almost all of it and you'll get your money's worth ?
Kid-friendliness: Breakfast buffet was adored by my kids
