They were very busy but everyone was nice, the food came quick and it was reasonably priced. Fantastic last night to our vacation. And we got to see some elk snacking on the grassy lawns before we sat down to eat.

We waited for 10 minutes to be seated and once we were seated we were never waited on. We finally got up and left after 20 minutes of waiting. There were about 15 customers in the restaurant, so not super busy!

We had to wait about 40 minutes for a table even though there were clearly empty tables, the blackened trout was AWESOME

Breakfast, ordered eggs over medium and the yolks were hard. Wife got eggs, hash browns, sausage and toast. They burned the toast and instead of making more they half-heartedly scraped it. 🤦

Brian L was a great server who also was a second bartender! He was very attentive to all the tables and he never stopped moving throughout the restaurant. Food was great, and to top it off the Vikings beat the Bears on MNF! 😎

I arrived with a tour group of 20 people for a scheduled dinner. Orderd my dinner from the menu. And receive my drinks. Most of the tables of of six were served their dinners. After a long period and everyone else had finished their dinner, I received my dinner. It was so overly salted that I was unable to eat it and I sent it back. To be fair, they offered to get me another entre. But everyone in our party had already finished their meal. So I declined. They offered no recompense. I did pay for my drinks and my dinner was paid for by the tour company. It seems like a nice enough place. Since tour groups and tourists are the majority of their business, it is a surprise that they were not able to provide adequate service

The food was perfect! I truly appreciated that turkey sausage was an option, not everyone wants pork. The service was good. My husband loved his meal. The price was very fair for the portions.

Now, this is the place to eat! We ate there several times. It was always good with great atmosphere! We think it is best place in town and we ate at many of them.

Stopped in for breakfast and also grabbed some food to go. We had pancakes, eggs, and the Miner’s Breakfast. The food itself was fine—your standard breakfast fare. Hard to mess that up, and it did the job.
They did forget the condiments with our to-go order, so I had to run back, which was a little inconvenient. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and welcoming.
Overall: average food, nice people, but nothing that really stood out.

Super slow service! Took almost an hour to get our food. Food is salty! There’s a 20% service charge added to the bill and expects to get additional tip. Like what?

Really short menu, mostly sandwiches, average at best. Looks more like a breakfast choice than dinner . Better options around.
