We ordered 2 meatloaf dinners . The meatloaf was burned and the mashed potatoes were cold. Disappointed we are here two years ago and the food was decent.

Food was excellent. My husband had the cheese steak sandwich and elk chili. He said that although there were jalapenos in the chili it was more sweet than heat balancing the flavors. I had the quesadilla which was perfectly flat and filled from point to top. Most places there isn't any filling once you get to the very top of the quesadilla. This was NOT the case here. Our server was very sweet and checked on is a couple times but did not hover (which we appreciated). The interior was rustic and the fireplace added a homey intimate touch. All in all highly recommend!
The portions filled the plates. Worth the money.

BEST RESTAURANT IN GARDINER!!!! Accepts reservations and high quality FRESH food! Meatloaf is delicious—Bison burgers are very thick, double patty. Friendly staff, 12/10 recommend!!!

The food was good! Tasty ribeye but the good stops there. Terrible service. Host acted upset to see us. Waitress was inattentive and never checked to see if we needed refills or any else. Very dissatisfied for how much the food costs.

They were very busy but everyone was nice, the food came quick and it was reasonably priced. Fantastic last night to our vacation. And we got to see some elk snacking on the grassy lawns before we sat down to eat.
Had breakfast. Really really good. I had the Miners Breakfast and wife had short stack pancakes. Everything was Delicious!

We waited for 10 minutes to be seated and once we were seated we were never waited on. We finally got up and left after 20 minutes of waiting. There were about 15 customers in the restaurant, so not super busy!

Breakfast, ordered eggs over medium and the yolks were hard. Wife got eggs, hash browns, sausage and toast. They burned the toast and instead of making more they half-heartedly scraped it. 🤦
