“The pizza at Eugene’s is amazing, and the service is fast and friendly—but what really sets it apart are the owners, Sam and Jeff Knödel.

On a motorcycle trip to Glacier, I got stranded in Glasgow, MT, when my clutch cable broke. The part had to be shipped, and the only local shop mainly works on ATVs, with no guarantee my bike could be fixed.

I heard Jeff is a motorcycle enthusiast and reached out. Sam met me during the day, offered incredible support, connected me with Jeff, and even offered to store my bike, and arrange transport if needed. Jeff picked me up with an emergency repair kit, drove me to the shop, and back to my motel.

These brothers went far beyond helping a stranded traveler—they turned a stressful situation into a story I’ll never forget. Eugene’s isn’t just about great pizza; it’s about the people behind it. Sam and Jeff who are truly extraordinary.”

“I love that there’s an authentic chinese restaurant in the middle-of-nowhere montana. The business is run by a kind family, and is definitely mom-and-pop type vibes. The food is delicious! Don’t read into the low rating this restaurant has—people in Montana/rural areas can be especially negative towards cultural differences or ethnic food.”

Subway

Subway 629 1st Ave N, Glasgow Sandwich Shop • $

“On a roadtrip with my guys, we don’t eat too often. Like I usually say, respect is earned, this place earned it all. The man working there has truly changed my mindset on people. Talk about hardworking, cleaned the floor 3 times because us and other customers came in last minute before they closed, still had a smile on his face and had great customer service. We’ve been driving all day, only snacks for gas stations have been ate. Food was amazing and even helped us by paying for our cookies. This man deserves a raise, he deserves only good in life. And he gave tips for our roadtrip to glacier and everywhere else. Love people like this, 100% recommend this place.”

“The Taco Shack is one of those little hidden gems you’re glad you stopped at. It’s got that small-town, pull-up-and-grab-a-bite kind of charm, but the food tastes like something you’d expect from a full-blown restaurant.

Their tacos are loaded—good meat, fresh toppings, and tater tots. The seasoning is spot on, and you can tell everything is made fresh. The burritos are huge and packed tight, and the homemade salsa has just the right kick without burning your face off.

Service is fast and friendly, even if they’re busy. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and you leave full. It’s the kind of place you stop once and end up stopping every time you’re in the area.

If you ever find yourself passing through, the Taco Shack is definitely worth pulling over for. Great food, no hassle, just a solid Montana taco stop.”

“Much appericiate the kindness for the 2 guys in night shift on may 15-16.

I am canadian truck driver who was passing through and my food due to truck fridge went bad, and have been driving past 6-7 hours and was starving but everything was closed.

I only had my credit cards and no US cash.
These 2 kind men, fed me even if their till was closed and did not charge me anything. I was able to pay by credit card but since their till was closed they could not have charged me.

Thanks so much guys, and if you guys ever came to canada, will like to return this favour or if came across again inwill drop cash.”
