Taco Shack has done to Mexican food what Japanese youth have done to Rockabilly, they’ve made it their own and it’s fantastic. If you’re hoping for Rick Bayless authentic, keep moving. Love this place for what it is!

If you want a soggy burrito and absolutely not what you wanted or paid for after driving 13 hours stop on down to your local taco shack.

I wish I would’ve taken pictures of the disgrace we were served. Not sure how you could proudly serve what was put in front of us and feel good about it. I had “nacho salad” which consisted of some rubbery chicken, cheese, brown lettuce, and some random olives. The chips and cheese were the only thing I felt safe eating. My husband had a supreme burrito that was supposed to be in a combo, it was just a burrito. We couldn’t get out of here fast enough.

I had an awesome experience with really great customer service. I was offered extra ice water and had a really great experience in the drive-through even though it takes a little bit longer, I don’t mind that at all personally. But for someone in a real big hurry, they may not want to choose this drive-through. I sent a family member for me a few days prior to my visit though, and they did not have as good of an experience and experienced some quite rude customer service. So, it may be hit and miss but my experience was good! Yummy ranch burrito and potatoes.
Parking: A few spots upfront, but you could definitely park next-door and take a few steps to walk over if the front spots are taken.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is fine.

I went, and I asked 2 plain bean burritos with nothing on them. I get home. I'm excited to eat. I start eating one of my burritos. I realized it is loaded with cheese, onions, and sauce. And it's not even bean. It's beef. I'm still going to eat those. I keep eating, and I get an entire chunk of an onion. Not a slice, not a diced bit a chunk. I am disgusted.

This taco salad was so good I added extra meat when ordering they actually put it. I’m doing a lazy keto so I can’t eat the shell.
Small town hospitality, predictably good food every time I go here.

I've passed by many times heading through town, so I thought I would give it a try. The tots were seasoned well, and fried nicely. My issue is with the tacos. I asked for no taco sauce, but they put it on anyway, in a large amount, that it totally overpowered everything else. The taco itself was mediocre at best, lacking in flavor that left me wanting something else. The staff seemed friendly enough, I just wasn't into the food.
