Couldn't find French fries on the menu, she said they're these ribbons or something that were on the menu. I'd've called them fresh, hot potato chips. They were good, but not what I was wanting, especially when the table next to us got served shoestring potatoes. The service was fast and friendly, the place (and the bathroom) was clean, prices were good. Best nachos in town! The Beer Jug is notorious for it's nachos. The original Beer Jug burned up from a fire few years back, leading to a remodel and expansion. Located on main street next to Bravera bank. There is pool table and dart machines. The staff is always friendly and hard working. No hard liquor available.

We rolled into town and it started raining and we both had to use the restroom stat!This was the first place we came to and it was a cool little dive bar type place.After the restroom we bellied up to the bar for a beer. The girl working the bar was nice and helpful. She was the only one working in this small establishment but she was in charge of bartending and cooking (the kitchen was right behind the bar).These type of bars remind me of the neighborhood places I grew up in...read full review
