Food was great, service was good, the automatic 22% gratuity put on our check was not appropriate, especially considering they squeezed all 7 of us in a booth. Our group of 7 won't be back.
Believe the reviews when it's almost in the 3 stars! Went for dinner last night and got two sushi rolls and ramen. Never in my life have I refused to eat the food at a restaurant. My lobster roll came out and they oven baked it! 🤢🤮 I didn't touch a single piece of it nor took it home yet they refused a discount. My California roll also came out warm!!! Wth! If I wanted warm food I'd go anywhere else. I didn't finish the California roll in fear of FOOD POISONING!! My ramen was pure slime and tasted like water. Not the servers fault so I still tipped her, not sure why though when my bill was $40 and couldn't actually eat the food. Called when I got home since baby was getting angry and she was no help even saying the California roll was warm from using it on other food!! CROSS CONTAMINATION at its finest. I will let everyone know NEVER TO GO HERE and be sharing on ALL social media platforms as well!

Not a fan of this place, sushi was basic and kinda expensive for what you get, and the ramen broth was so gross couldn’t eat any of it unfortunately

Really good we just ate here for dinner. I got a chicken yakitori and a salmon roll it was so delicious. The price is good and the staff is super helpful.
We go regularly, and always love the whole experience!
Sushi, service & price was great! Ramen was good. Atmosphere was fine except for the huge pipes blasting cold air right over almost every table, which would’ve been perfect for a hot sunny day. Yet it was mid-May and chilly & windy outside and they didn’t bother to turn off the “blowers” or adjust the temperature. (It wasn’t busy when we arrived.) We moved a table over but it hardly made a difference. Caused the ramen to get cold quite fast.

The ramen and calamari was really good. Best ramen I have ever had. The service was awesome. Definitely would recommend this place.

We had a wonderful experience here, and I especially wanted to recognize Allison and Cody for their outstanding service. They were both friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome.
They were fantastic servers and a big part of why we enjoyed our visit so much. Employees like Allison and Cody are a real asset to this restaurant. We’ll definitely be back because of the great service they provided.

Love eating at Hokkaido! Both the ramen and sushi is delicious, and the atmosphere is nice.
Our server Allison P. is an absolute delight. The 🍤 tempura shrimp was the best I've ever ate. Very Affordable! I will definitely become a regular. Thank you Hokkaido!

The ramen is terrible. You may as well go make microwave ramen at home. I ordered the Shio Ramen with extra chicken, and it came with no chicken and barely any terribly bland broth. Broth is the one thing you have to do right in regard to ramen. The chashu pork must have been dehydrated. It was tasteless and super dry. The “fresh” toppings that were advertised in the menu picture—the scallions & bok choy—were scarce and tasted old. The pork bun was dry and like cardboard. The sushi was mediocre, like what you get in a grocery store deli. Do not recommend.

Stale sushi rice, burnt and flavorless chicken yakitori, and subpar fish quality about sums this place up. Save your money and get some grocery store sushi instead.

Well got started out when I was sat at a booth that was taped together with duck tape. After that I didn't feel good about anything that was going to be served to me. Than a couple of 4 old people in the booth behind us and kept bumping us. Staff was nice but sushi was gross. Dried out. The other couple with us said the ramin was góod. Probably just to not embarrass us. Will never go back again.
