Like stepping back in time. I could imagine the memories created back in the day. The bartender was awesome and knew everything about the history of the hotel. The glass artwork was spectacular.
If I can take someone who has never been here before, I do it. I can remember swimming in the pool while my dad had a beer in the bar. I’m 76 now. Call and make sure you have the times the mermaids will be doing their show and sit at the bar in front of the pool window!!!
We were told this was a can't miss while in town visiting. I was a bit worried with the first-come-first-served seating, but we made it just in for the last available table, a bit surprised at just how small it is inside. Mirrors help, but we were tucked so far back and around a corner that some of the table couldn't see the bar and mermaid. The mermaid was indeed very neat, a great performer. It was odd to us that the food has to come on one cheque and the drinks on...
