we had awesome service and our meal was very good 😊 thanks for making our anniversary special!
My sister and I went there a few days ago to have lunch and it took us 45 minutes to get our lunch and it wasn’t that busy in there. I think there were four other people in there…
My sister ordered the steak, baked potato and salad for lunch. Her baked potato was cold. Her steak wasn’t prepared like she ordered it. They took the steak back and the potato stick look like a briquette when it came back…
I ordered the shrimp and fish platter and my chicken tenders...read full review
Pros probably best NY steak I ever ate. Cons $44 for a 15oz steak you probably won't last to long in Great Falls because there is only a small class of people that can afford a meal like that. Also when waitress asked you if you Onions on it she should tell you it's $4.99 extra, you can buy a whole bag for that price. Steak portion correct the rest very extra small not portioned right. $154 total with Soda's. 3/28/25 Probably will not be back unless prices and portions are...read full review

Montana's Rib & Chop House provides a mix of casual and sophisticated dining in a modern setting. The menu features a variety of dishes, including the popular boudin ball appetizer and entrees like the blackened Halibut with crab topping and light cream sauce. The restaurant also offers a good selection of sides, such as baked potatoes and garlic mashed potatoes. Many guests praise the most of the menu items, noting that they are wonderful and the atmosphere is nice. The waitstaff is often described as personable and kind, adding to the positive experience. Cocktails like the “painkiller” and the spinach dip are also highly appreciated. However, some customers mention that it can take over an hour to receive food, and there have been issues with incorrect orders, such as receiving prime rib instead of steak. The oysters are generally disliked, considered the worst ever by some diners. Prices are high, with a 15oz steak costing $44, and some feel portions are small for the price, especially when extra charges apply for add-ons like onions. Despite the long wait times and some service inconsistencies, Montana's Rib & Chop House remains a good spot for a special night out, with a calm and clean environment. The Lamb special was highly praised and suggested to become a regular menu item.
