I've come here before and it was great but this last time I went in and ordered a big belt and while they were making my food the older skinny woman was eating and making my food!! I get being hungry but there's a time you can do that. at least step off the line and take a few bites. and my order was wrong!! I got a little belt instead. you should focus on what your making and not eating right over my food...
this was not a great experience
crew is incredible, food is on point, atmosphere is all Montana. love our favorite weekend spot.
We were soooo excited when Wheat Montana put pretzels on their menu!!! The first few we ordered were INCREDIBLE! But the last 8 we have ordered (it's a company that was ordering them almost daily) have had not 1 drop of salt. It's like taking a piece of bread and dunking it in cheese - NOT tasty! Wheat Montana in Great Falls is a must stop for a sweet bakery treat. The cinnamon rolls are huge, warmed, and so delicious, with customers going out of their way to pick up more. The caramel rolls are to die for, and the blueberry muffins and huckleberry bear claws are delicious. Fresh bread, meat, and cheese make the sandwiches amazing. Good soup and breakfasts are also excellent. The Americana coffee and chai latte are both excellent, and it is hands down the best coffee in town, with an XL option available. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are always warm, welcoming, and friendly. The back area is great for studying or working away from the main counter, with more plugs for a laptop. Items can seem a bit expensive, and the biscuits and sausage gravy is just okay, while the teriyaki salad is below standard. The furniture is not as comfortable for extended periods. Service is excellent, though more diligence is needed for drink temperature requests.
