Great customer service and one of the best breakfast sandwiches in Helena.
Always good. If you like bacon, the BLT won't disappoint.
I have been living in Helena for about 18 months and have driven by this place countless times. A visit to Benefits hospital third floor looking out the window I discovered it across 11th Ave. and I'm glad I did. It has a great selection of breakfast sandwiches, pastries and cookies. A coffee was very good also and the whole meal was reasonably priced. The service was friendly and fast. Can always tell when people like where they work. It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside thus the name I guess, but it has a very good local feel once you get inside and adequate seating if you want to stay. A hidden gem if you will. I will be going back.
The Dive Bakery is AMAZING!!! Under new ownership within the last couple of years. The owner is awesome and very creative. I just picked up my yearly Irish Car Bomb cupcakes that are to die for! I also grabbed a piece of quiche while I was there this morning. They have at least 2 different kinds and they are delicious. I would recommend checking this out for any of the following reasons, your local bakery, need a cup of coffee, lunch, or custom cakes. 10 out of 10!!!
Staff is great, food is fantastic, service is fast . First time there, will definitely not be the last. If you don’t control yourself you walk out of there with much more food than you’ll ever eat. It all looks so good.
They don't greet you fast but they are great for items for meetings!
Ordered a latte but the person who took my order just wrote it on a piece of paper and set in down in front of the machine. 10 minutes later I asked about it and the girl just looked at me and walked off. I saw her look at the piece of paper and then go do something else. Once she made it she just called my name and handed it to me. No apologies. Wish I hadn’t left a 20% tip no matter that it was small. I won’t go back.
I’m constantly on the hunt for a good breakfast sandwich and man oh man do I now wish I lived in Helena. The “build your own” style here has so much potential! Do not sleep on these bread options. It doesn’t get any fresher than this!!
Awesome little nook in Helena MT. Great options for the sweet tooth, breakfast, lunch! All great! Helena has a few great Bakery options, and this is in the top ranks!
Good coffee for this side of town. Try the quiche.

A lot of room for improvement. The quiche wasn’t warm, and hard to eat with a cheapo plastic fork… why not have real silverware? I thought about the soup but cold soup and a plastic spoon might be worse. With Panera Bread going in across the street I feel like the game should be stepped way up. Folks want to support local shops, but make the hot food hot, don’t promote single use plastic, have killer service, delicious variety (not available anywhere else) and make it worth it. I feel like they have a lot of potential but are spread too thin. Do a couple of things really well, not a lot of things semi-ok. I would think soup and sandwich combo would be a great seller - but lack luster options on the sandwich front aside from Thursday. And the confusing pricing makes my head spin.
