Came from Washington to see family. Went to the gold bar. Brandon was our server and he was so nice! He never forgot about us. I’ll definitely be coming back as long as he’s working!

Had absolutely the best experience at the gold having Brandon as my server! Never once had me waiting. He was literally the only person behind the bar getting orders done! Even on a busy Friday night. I’ll definitely be back as long as he’s working.

Bartenders and food are simply amazing! However the Dj for Karaoke was not great at all. I was told and saw on the list multiple times that I was a few songs away- and after 2.5 hours never sang one song. Then multiple people who came in after me sang 3 songs before me. Then the DJ told us me that my spot on the list had not changed. This has happened to me and my friends multiple times. Not gonna go back there for karaoke. The speakers were also crazy loud, to the point you couldn’t hear anyone else in the room. But again the bars and food are crazy good!

I came here for a drink during my only night in Helena, and the bartender was so incredibly kind! (I believe her name was Sarah but I may have misheard)

She gave really good beer recommendations and also gave me a little token to remember Helena by, which was so so nice and I really appreciated it.

Everyone should come by at least once if you are in Helena!

Whoa! Free country dance lessons at the western have me begging for more! Thank you for hosting and please do it again! Instructors were excellent and format was super fun. (And no, I don’t know the instructors, I just really am this happy with the experience!) Oh, AND I met a guy there that said he’s been driving to Bozeman for reliable country dancing— I’m thinking this is a major opportunity for weeknight dancing to become a major thing at The Western…

My favorite bar in Helena. Love the local food from Old Salt Outpost, great (and affordable) drinks (both alcoholic and n/a), and fantastic service from all the bartenders.

Checking The Gold Bar off of our experience list. We actually visited the corner nook of the bar that's designated for The Salt Outpost restaurant. The hamburgers were good, but not exceptional. Salad with a burger on top was clearly the healthiest menu choice. The beef fat fried French fries that weren't burnt to a crisp were tasty - but more were burnt than not. This is not a place for conversation, but the rowdy crowd was having a good time playing pool and watching sports together.
