What a shame! So disappointed. First time in Helena MT. Excited to find a local place with what seemed like a local flavored restaurant. Ordered a drink and dinner. Waitress brought wife’s lasagna in about 15 minutes and told us it was getting cold waiting for my steak to get done. 30 minutes later I had to go ask her if and when my steak would be served. Ten minutes after that she said it would be out and offered to comp my next drink. And that the kitchen was an hour behind. We declined and they cancelled our bill. I left hungry after waiting over an hour. Wife’s lasagna wasn’t very good.

I used to really like this place - especially, since it's so convenient in the valley. But, their quality has dropped significantly and it is extremely noticeable. The prices keep rising, but the food is going in the opposite direction. The pizza kitchen is only open 2 (?) days a week, and that's one of the best aspects of the place. The service still continues to try to be as good as possible, but that doesn't make up for them charging extra for lettuce, tomatoes, & onions that come on the side with your burger. 👎🏻 The prices are expensive enough, the upcharges for everything else are getting really tiring.

Very rude showed up at 9;30PM and waitress said they already cleaned up for the night. Obviously they just didn't care. Great choice if you like rude people.

The breakfast food was average to poor. Hash browns were bland. A croissant looked the bottom half of a hamburger bun and one order was wrong. We have had good meals here in the past but they were off this time. All this for $70 (4 meals).
A real Montana experience. Casual, seat yourself bar with an adult side (21+) and family side. Food is good. I had a grubstake burger with all the toppings, bacon and cheese. Hubby had the French dip. Burger is thick, 1/2 pound ground chuck. Fries are homemade but not salted so you’ll have to add it yourself. The French dip was “fine”. Waitress was nice, atmosphere is really laid back. Conveniently located right off the interstate. Without drinks our tab was $30

We held our wedding rehearsal dinner here and the food was awesome. Jeanette was very helpful and informative at getting us set up as we were doing all arrangements and prep from out of state.
