Cheddars Gourmet Grilled Cheese

I got the Gold Rush and substituted the bacon for their "chutney". The bread was burnt, they charged an extra $1.50 to substitute bacon for the "chutney", their definition of a chutney was adding canned diced tomatoes to it, and their soup dip was broke. By broke I mean it was warm to the point that there was absolutely no consistency. I understand that their mac n cheese and their soup come out of a bag, the bread is the cheapest you can get in town, and they seem to be still surviving somehow as a business. Overall the food was awful. The staff was at least kind to me besides what seemed to be the manager. Overall an awful experience and I will never be coming back.

Got the Gold Rush and a bowl of tomato soup, food didn't take too long. Grilled cheese was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The soup was a bit too hot to eat immediately but after cooled a small amount tasted incredible. The cashier was nice and seemed to be in a good mood.

I'm not a big fan of grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup, much less paying the same price I would for a burger...this place changed my view in both! The sandwich was amazingly cheesy and delicious, not to mention actually being satisfying and filling. The soup shot (little cup of tomato soup to dip your sandwich) was packed full of flavor. I'm not sure I would make it a usual, but it is worth at least trying!

Food was great. Service was terrible. I think the girl who took our order was high on something and then the other worker sat on his phone behind the counter. Ordered a cup of soup and was given a shot. What a shame.

Everything you want out of a grilled cheese shop!Fast and efficient service, a delicious pre-set menu, as well as build your own options.I had the caprese sandwich. It was a generous portion that was perfectly prepared. It was almost fall-apart full, but held together for the most part by the amazing amount of cheeses.If I were a local, I would frequent a minimum of twice a week.
