I had occasion to travel through Helena so My friend drove from great falls to meet me at Lucca's for dinner...thats how much we like dining there. The food was excellent and our waitress was both gracious and knowledgable. We will dine there again at every opportunity.

Savanah was an exceptional waitress that had the menue and all the ingredients memorized. It was a breeze for her to incorporate special requests and provide options for those with discerning pallets. The food was outstanding. This was my first time at Lucca's and I definitely plan on going again!
Wow! Reminds me of the show ‘The Bear’ as the entire staff worked together to provide the best food and service! Food was amazing, staff was exceptional and the selection of wines were excellent! The same food and service would be doing Le the price in Portland! Excellent t and highly recommend! I had the Halibut special, White Pinot from Oregon (half price bottle Wed)and the panna cotta for dessert!

Amazing! This was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. The service was wonderful and Jason was so helpful. I got the shrimp in cream sauce (I don't remember the name) and my husband had the veal. I did find his veal a little salty but he loved it. My shrimp were cooked perfectly and tasted heavenly. We splurged and got dessert a flourless brownie and the tiramisu, again amazing. The portions were large providing me with lunch for the next day and a breakfast of titanium lol. The atmosphere was quiet, cozy and romantic. We never felt rushed, or that Jason was hovering around. He seemed to appear out of nowhere when needed. It really was a perfect anniversary dinner!

After telling our server I am vegetarian i was still served a dish that contained MEAT!!! I ordered the gnocchi and the flavor was mostly pesto but the following day i had a stomach ache and after looking at mY leftovers in brighter lighting i could very clearly see a ton of meat!!! i was very upset and absolutely disgustef and left a message for the staff at Luccas... i did not recieve so much as a phone call for apology or acknowledgement... we spent $140 on a meal for 2 people and definitely had much higher expectations for my experience. vegetarians beware... this restaurant is not reliable for dietary restrictions. you may want to go elsewhere where your preferences will be respected.
