Awesome place. Sealey is the best. She loves this brewery and Montana. Great personality. Owners should give her a raise. Ask for her. Plus the best views and beers on our two-week extravaganza across the West. I love Helena!
Chicken satay is my favorite and their peanut sauce is to die for! I need to recreate for home asap!!
Excellent food and very good beer. Zoey was so helpful and greeted us with smiles and warmness. Would have loved to stay longer but we were only in Helena for the day. ??
Wow! I thought I was in the Olive Garden because I felt like family. Great beers. Great service. Great views. Great place!
We did not have a very good experience. We came and waited nearly an our for our food. We got the chips and dip, queso was good, bean dip didn’t have much flavor. Just tasted like bland/smooshed black beans. The salsa was disappointing, it was just chopped tomatoes and onion. I got their famous “lemon chicken Sammie” and some how the outside edges were completely burnt but the inside was still pink. The chicken was still raw. My friend had the buffalo chicken sandwich. My friend said it tasted like a literal tendon so he didn’t finish even half of it. I wanted to try his since mine was bad and I kid you not the other half of his sandwich didn’t have any chicken, that’s how small the piece of chicken was on his sandwich?. So the other half I went to try was literally bread. ?♀️
Good selection of beers. very friendly staff
When I was there I felt like I was Garfield and the entire place was a giant lasagna that’s how good literally everything there is.
This place offers good food specials in addition to their beer
5 stars for their fried chicken lemon sammie, and another 5 stars for their support of the Montana Pittie Project! Thanks for supporting dog rescue!
Friendly environment. There isn’t a great selection of nonalcoholic beverages and the beers were a bit average as other reviewers mentioned. We didn’t go upstairs, but the downstairs was a nice area and pretty spread out. It felt cold to me and a bit corporate? Weird assessment I know, but when we were immediately comparing the other bars this one felt a bit less homey and more industrial. Be aware the Dip is literally 3 dips with chips-I originally read it as a nacho.

great beer guy Sean behind the counter. knowledgeable about not only the beers here but about various breweries in the Bitterroot where I'm from.
Amazing venue, pretty good beer, very average beer selection, food was good but came out cold. I see the meaning in the name, you need to ascend 3 flights of stairs for the rooftop, then descend them to collect your food…and go back up again. I’m fit, but I’m there for a beer and a meal not a hike.
The main issue with this business is the lack of anything other than beer, no wine, no cider. You know we men drag women who don’t drink beer here right? I hope my bluntness helps you improve on what ‘looks like’ a great venue, best of luck.
To the Mount Ascension food: Thank you for existing.
Delicious!
Great food great service. Really good beer.
Amazing beers! Amazing food! Amazing views from the rooftop patio!
