We’re long time customers and we’ve always had an enjoyable experience… until this evening. It has been a while since we dined at On Broadway, so maybe the culture has changed. We were served our cocktails and not five minutes later our salads arrived at the table. A few short minutes later, our tepid entrees arrived. As I was eating and less than halfway through my salad, our server appeared asking if I was finished and she could remove my plate. Later, as I was still obviously working on my entree, she asked if I wanted a take home box. Never during the course of dinner did she ask if we were satisfied with our meal. This was a birthday celebration and in the past, a gratis dessert was offered to the celebrant. Apparently that is a perk of the past. We ordered coffee and was told “it’s on the house for your birthday.” A cup of coffee?! To summarize, we felt rushed, our food was lukewarm, server inattentive and felt like the coffee was a cheap token of appreciation.

Generally I have been happy with the quality of food since they opened 30+ years ago. But last night I had the eggplant parm and would not recommend it. The eggplant was stringy and underdone; the sauce was sparse and tasteless. I was so disappointed. I will stick w a salad w salmon on top! BUT the service was outstanding as usual.

Started with the Pear Fection Martini, absolutely delicious. Had the Grilled Mozzarella Skewers and the Creole Lobster and Crab Cake appetizers. Both were very appetizing. For dinner I had the Prosciutto Angel Hair. I highly recommend. My son had the Puttanesca. He was disappointed, it had a light flavor. My husband had the Eggplant Parmesan and he was also disappointed with his meal. The Eggplant was tough. The only other thing was the bread was very cold. All in all my dish was fantastic and so was the drink. The ambiance is wonderful and the staff is super friendly. One star knocked off for each meal. I would recommend On Broadway and would definitely come back.

Just walked out of this place after being told the wait for a table was over an hour. Literally no one waiting to be seated ahead of us and multiple tables open. Won’t ever return to this place after this. I’ll take my business elsewhere
Edit because of reply……. The restaurant says it was for food quality but that’s nothing more than a cheap excuse. We walked in the wrong door so we were able to see both sides of the restaurant. I’m very observant when I enter an establishment so I noticed that all but 2 tables that were in eyesight from both doors were eating. Maybe if I hadn’t walked in wearing a hoodie and a ball cap we would have gotten served.

Went out for a birthday dinner. Wife got a dish that was given to her at room temperature. Asked to have it heated up and it came back just as cold as it came out the first time. Kitchen seems to be lagging behind the wait staff. Food has been hit or miss the last few visits.
The food is always on point, from the pasta to the seafood and desserts.

Caleb was awesome and the food was perfectly portioned with layers of flavor! It’s extremely hard not to give this place 5’s across the board bc it is amazing! (but I think I saw a lightbulb out…maybe)
