Dropped this one down to 4 stars. This has been a go to for so many years, but they seem to have gone from in kitchen made to pre-packaged on some of their stuff. Hopefully, it is just temporarily and my next round is better. I wouldn't mind if the prices weren't pre-packaged prices.

We sat on the bar side. We have done that before and had great service but not this time. I think they only had one server. Server was great but busy… short staffed. My burger was terrible (no condiments what so ever and you couldn’t get the server’s attention). Too expensive for crappy food and service. 2nd time this year. I will not waste my time or money here. Sad because I grew up here and used to love their chicken Broadway…

Our experience at On Broadway tonight was amazing like always. We sat at the bar and had Caleb as our bartender/ server and he exceeded all expectations. Adam, bar manager, was available to answer any and all questions and was so friendly. Tycen who works on the bar side was and is so friendly and kind to us. Every time we visit On Broadway we are amazed, but this time was above and beyond!

So we have been customers for a long time to this place and have slowly just watched it go down hill just a bit more each year, tonight we ordered our food drove and hour to get to town to get it and guess what the place is closed didn’t say anything on the website took our order took our money said it would be done in whatever time it said we show up place is closed down for the night because the power is out funny tho that everyone else had power around the building and there was lights on inside the building….. not very impressed at all. Probably be the last time this was really the last straw, we are good customers too we spend no less then 200$ on every order as well as tip at 25-50% sometimes.

It's the best restaurant in Helena. It's a classic spot. They don't take reservations, and most nights it's the type of place that it is your evening event - meaning go early and enjoy your time. It's delicious and so fun.

No reservations, 1.5 hour wait, so put name on the list and came back in an hour. Guy running the list seemed to have no interest in interacting with customers or giving any information. We’re told to sit anywhere, but not that we still needed to get seated in the part of the restaurant where dinner is served. When we got told that we weren’t allowed to have dinner in that part of the restaurant we left. It’s 2025. If your restaurant doesn’t work like normal restaurants, have someone in the front who tells you.
We were excited to go to On Broadway but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the hype. It took over 10 minutes just to get waters, and throughout the evening, it was clear that the staff prioritized regulars over new customers. We felt overlooked and unwelcome, which really took away from what could have been a great meal. It might be a good spot if you’re a regular, but as a “some times” visitor, the service left a lot to be desired.

Genuine Italian right here and excellent service from the bar. The hostess seemed a bit overwhelmed and frankly, a bit rude. No greeting until about three minutes after I was standing in front of her while she was multi tasking…. Seemed to struggle a bit on where to seat me. When I asked about bar seating, she said “sure, one seat left” …. Everyone has a rough night and I get that… just really didn’t seem engaged at all. But, not my generation either 🙂. I will return.

Came here with a friend from Helena and our kids. Everyone loved it and it was a great time. The servers were so nice with good recommendations. It seemed packed for a Monday night so it is a popular restaurant. Great atmosphere and I would definitely go back.

We have lived in Helena for 12 years and never been here because my husband is a steak snob. I wanted pasta…he wanted steak 10/10 both meals were amazing. Perfect flavor, timely, friendly staff. Reasonable drink prices (also perfectly made)
