We’re long time customers and we’ve always had an enjoyable experience… until this evening. It has been a while since we dined at On Broadway, so maybe the culture has changed. Generally I have been happy with the quality of food since they opened 30+ years ago. But last night I had the eggplant parm and would not recommend it. The eggplant was stringy and underdone; the sauce was sparse and tasteless. I was so disappointed. I will stick w a salad w salmon on top! BUT the service was outstanding as usual.
Started with the Pear Fection Martini, absolutely delicious. Had the Grilled Mozzarella Skewers and the Creole Lobster and Crab Cake appetizers. Both were very appetizing. For dinner I had the Prosciutto Angel Hair. I highly recommend. My son had the Puttanesca. He was disappointed, it had a light flavor.
