Adorable!!! The Sunflower Bakery is so cute, and the staff are incredibly friendly. I got their Sourdough Baguette to go, and oh my god. So good. It’s everything it should be and more. Super fresh, chewy crust with a moist, bouncy interior, and wonderful whole wheat sourdough taste, slightly tangy with just a hint of natural sweetness.

Hands down best cinnamon rolls ever. We routinely serve them to guests and they all agree. We often get their quiche, too. Delicious!
Note that this is primarily a bakery for carry-out. There is some seating, but it's quite limited.

Where I’m from, pie isn’t a thing. I had pie for the first time last year, and it was okay. But the peach cobbler pie at Sunflower Bakery is out of this world. It’s one of the best pastries I’ve ever had. The sourdough baguette is also amazing, like really really good. Ill be back to try other things before i go back home.

I’m obsessed with rye and they got it all here. Lots of bakeries don’t do lots of rye products and this one does and well. The bread is beautiful with seeds and so tasty. Love the treats as well. Can’t go back to store bread now.

Apparently when I was in yesterday some other customer waiting behind me left a review that the cashier was rude to me and that is far from the truth. I happen to know this cashier and was given great service as I've always received. The food and service are stupendous. So stop in and make sure to support our local bakery business Sunflower Tlee

The scones here are the best in town, and the quiche is better than most of the bakeries in Helena. However, the atmosphere and attitude towards customers is dismal. On a recent morning they had theor door unlocked but the open sign was not yet turned on. My phone said 7:30 (opening time), however the woman who started opening the blinds berated the man who walked in for walking in before opening time, and made a deal about it. My phone honestly did say 730 and I mentioned that, only to have you argue that your clock said 729. Was a POSSIBELE 30 seconds really worth it? I had noticed before that the attitude towards customers was very cool, definitely not warm and inviting - however the food was good enough I didn't care much. Now I will definitely come in less often, if at all. There are just too many other bakeries in town to choose from, and they are all friendlier. I am also a small business owner, and my customers are my lifeline. I would never berate 3 customers who came in at 7:29/7:30 when I open at 7:30. Maybe act happy they were wanting to buy from you?? Why so grumpy all the time?
