I used to eat at Taco John's a lot when I was younger, but we don't have them in GA. I still like them better than Taco Bell. My wife and I got two Tostadas and a medium Potato Ole. The food was actually pretty good and we were both full. Hard to believe $11 filled us up so much. Service was ok. Cleanliness was good even though they were busy.
Healthier alternative to the ? ... sometimes a higher price. The beef has less sodium and you can really tell, as it doesn't radiate with salt-laden flavor that the ? does. This means that I always drown the tacos with more sauce packets to get flavor and some spice to their bland ground beef. Aside from their toned-down ground, I'm a fan of everything else here and the people who work here are normally friendly.
