I love this place, the decor is so unique and the employees are so kind. They go above and beyond to get your order right, this is definitely my favorite cafe and bakery in Helena.

The Vanilla Bean is one of the best lunch spots in the state of Montana! Yes they have great treats, yes they have great coffees, yes the staff is wonderful, yes the owner is local and amazing, but I honestly can’t believe how delicious the lunch items are! If you’re in the area stop by and see the friendly staff and great lunch selections.

Ordered the fleur de sel cake for my son's birthday. The cake was pretty and tasted great. But, there was something in the ingredients that caused my family to get sick to their stomach.

I’ve heard great things about this bakery. Super disappointed upon our first visit today. The young staff was unwelcoming, disengaged and displayed a negative attitude towards the patrons. I watched a young worker openly roll her eyes when she needed to fix an order they messed up. The cupcakes were enjoyable and the atmosphere was cute however if the customer service is lackluster at any establishment and staff are irritated with paying customers so easily - it’s not worth a future visit.

I have yet to try 1 thing that is not a 5 star rating at VB! Shoutout for the consistently delicious goodies. I can walk in any random day and try something new. The selection is always a fantastic variety. I just don’t know how they do it! And I am a picky pastry eater!
Thank for my daughter’s birthday cake! It was incredible, obviously! It is every time!

Super cute and cool place to go

Fantastic place to eat and the atmosphere is relaxing and fun.

The Bean as my little guy calls it, is wonderful it has a beautiful setting delicious food. EVERY single item I’ve sampled has been extraordinary! It’s so close to home (for me) I go often! No complaints no negatives. Stellar service, amazing food and treats ( you can taste the love put into every dish)

Delicious food and baked goods! Beautiful open space that is designed well. Caprese sandwich was not worth the cost as there were only 2 small tomato slices, lots of cheese, and barely any pesto. It was difficult to tell if there was even any pesto on the sandwich. Felt more like a grilled cheese than a Caprese. Due to the taste of the food I would give this place another shot.
