“I was disappointed that the popovers are not complimentary anymore. We were also disappointed in the chocolate flourless dessert. Very dry, like it was old. When I asked about the wine, I was disappointed that the waiter did not offer me a taste of the two wines I was thinking of. My experience at the Mercantile was not as good as it has been in the past. On a positive note, the smoked rare prime rib was fabulous.“

“Throughout our 9-day tour of Tetons, Yellowstone and Glacier, our 2 dinners here at Freestone Restaurant were easily the dining highlight of the trip. We ate here right after a helicopter tour at Red Eagle Aviation nearby, and this was the perfect ending to the day. We tried the chicken curry soup, bone marrow, and crab cakes appetizers, ordered drinks, and enjoyed the Bison Sliders, Beef Stroganoff, Fish Tacos and Steak. Everything was out of this world delicious. We all shared and loved every bite. The service both nights was fantastic: McKenzie & Emeral deserve praise for their attentiveness, guidance and personality. Overall, we would come back to Freestone any time and highly recommend it as Glacier's finest!“
