Ordered from First Avenue Taphouse for the first time and was highly disappointed! Waste of Money! The parmesan fries were barely seasoned. I also ordered the Tuscan Chicken and received the incorrect one, I received the Cajun Chicken Alfredo and it was bland with no Seasonings. Tasted horrible. The crab cakes were not with the money paid for them. While the French dip was bland, their Au just was salter than soy sauce! Very disappointing experience that was also for someone's birthday dinner.

Got the fries AND the parmesan fries. No seasoning. They were soggy. I had to throw them in MY oven to crisp them. I seasoned them. And added cheese and parmesan myself.Will update review IF I get something else from there.

Tonight we had a great dinner and enjoyed the atmosphere. There was an incident with a spill but our server Rosie fixed it. I'm only mentioned it because servers are human and accidents will happen and we all need to have a little more empathy for each other. I will definitely be going back to enjoy this establishment. They have great employees. Rosie I hope to see you soon.

My wife and I have been to First Avenue Taphouse several times and each visit has been a great experience. On the first visit, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had enough dark beers for a flight of samples. (Actually, there could have been close to two full flights, but I only got one because I wanted to stick to beers I'd not had before.) They have a great selection of beer which is updated regularly. Always easy to find something we like. They have a full bar, too, but we've stuck to the beers. From appetizers through full meals, everything we've had has been tasty and we'll prepared. I wouldn't hesitate to order anything again, but I've tried something new most every visit. On the most recent visit, the salmon was spectacular! The service has always been great. Friendly and efficient without hovering. The bar area decor is excellent and the atmosphere is inviting. I see many more visits in our future!

We had dinner here last night. The food was excellent and our waitress was very sweet and efficient. It was sad to see only a few customers in this Kalispell well-known restaurant over the years. They also provided live entertainment music

This place was the biggest waste of money. Me and my husband decided to try it out for the first time. Got Alfredo, ribs and “garlic” fries. If you want to call them that. The food was disgusting. The fries were not seasoned at all. The Alfredo tasted like an entire pint of heavy cream had been dumped in and nothing else, no seasoning no garlic. And the garlic bread was just bread. I’m not sure where they get their garlic from but I can’t taste it at all. Last but not least there was no meat on the ribs. For the amount you pay you would expect quality food but unfortunately got quite the opposite. This was the first and last time we will go here.

Disaster. That is the only way to describe our experience here. We should have figured it out when we walked in and the live music was like a bad skit from Saturday night live. There was six of us in our party and only three people ate their food. We ordered burgers, which included a bison burger, pork ribs and a Reuben sandwich. The meat on the Ruben was cut into big chunks that resembled hotdogs, no sauerkraut and the bread was soggy. The waitress couldn't tell which burger was the bison burger and that's because it wasn't a bison burger. They brought out all beef hamburgers. The ribs were a giant slab of fat with no meat. They were so over cooked that the bones just crumbled in your fingers. The positive was the wait staff. They were very polite. We did voice her concerns about the food. On the way out the door the cook glared at us the entire time. He literally looked like he was ready to fight. We definitely will not be going back. We went to the Brass Tap immediately after. What a difference! They provided an experience that we were expecting at the first Avenue taphouse.
Great food and fun atmosphere! The staff are friendly and welcoming. We will go back and highly recommend.

Provide a consistent product. Ordered Ahi fish tacos in the past and were adult size. Ordered tonight and received child portion with tortilla chips for same price. Rip off for 17.00 dollars. Not going back
