First time trying Freestone. We had a reservation in the restaurant but decided to sit in the cozy bar area instead. My husband ordered the special and it came out cold. Said it tasted ok. The rest of us ordered the salmon fish tacos which were very good. Prices werereasonable and staff was attentive. We will definitely try again.

Always an amazing experience, worth every penny, from the gourmet cocktails to the gourmet food, everything was perfect. I highly recommend this resturant to anyone that wants their mind blown.

The food we ordered was carefully prepared with quality ingredients. I had the Walleye fish and it was delicious. They have a smoked blue cheese salad dressing that I will be going back for. Lindey was our waitress and gave us excellent service. And I really liked the decor. It was over-all a great experience!

Honestly, the menu feels pretty lackluster — the food quality just doesn't live up to the prices. The lobster mac & cheese (at $30!) barely had any lobster in it. The bone marrow was undercooked, though I'll give credit where it's due — the chimichurri flavor was fantastic. The short ribs were chewy with little depth of flavor, and the steaks were way overpriced for what you get. Overall, it was a real disappointment.

The food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. I look forward to dinner here again soon

The servers were attentive. The room was not crowded so the noise level was moderate and conversation was easily heard. The walleye was enjoyed.

Service was perfect, McKenzie did a great job! The crab cakes were way too salty, the Caesar salad dressing had a strong lemon taste! My wife's Trout Tacos were very good and my Mylasian Salt Block RibEye steak was delicious!

This was our second experience at Freestone and twice, the restaurant royally disappointed. We got there at 6:30. Ordered at 7:15 and did not get our food until close to 8:30. Overcooked and no flavor. The staff tried to apologize but what could they do. Our bill as close to $500 (with only 2 bottles of wine) for food that was NOT worth the LONG wait. We will not be trying this again.

Food was very good and the service was VERY slow. We sat down at 6:45 and left t 9:15. They need to figure out how to get the food out more efficiently. It was very loud but the food was very good and the portions were substantial. I would go back but give yourselves hours to eat!

Throughout our 9-day tour of Tetons, Yellowstone and Glacier, our 2 dinners here at Freestone Restaurant were easily the dining highlight of the trip. We ate here right after a helicopter tour at Red Eagle Aviation nearby, and this was the perfect ending to the day. We tried the chicken curry soup, bone marrow, and crab cakes appetizers, ordered drinks, and enjoyed the Bison Sliders, Beef Stroganoff, Fish Tacos and Steak. Everything was out of this world delicious. We all shared and loved every bite. The service both nights was fantastic: McKenzie & Emeral deserve praise for their attentiveness, guidance and personality. Overall, we would come back to Freestone any time and highly recommend it as Glacier's finest!

Got a reservation for 6:30. It wasn't super busy. People all around us got food we waited and hour and a half an still no food. But people who were sat way after us got food. They also stated they gave are food to the wrong table. Really bad first impression won't be coming back.

Came in with a friend for a nice dinner - was seated quickly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I love the rustic look to the area, open kitchen, and clean look to everything. Our waiter, Joe, was friendly and made sure we were well cared-for.

Their house made dinner rolls were perfectly baked, wonderful, and were well-spiced.
The bone marrow appetizer was the stand out for the evening, plated beautifully with fresh, crunchy bread and a zesty chimichurry. The flavor was impeccable and I would happily go again for the bone marrow alone.
Other than the bone marrow, the flathead fettucine was a fresh imagination of flavor, and a pleasant one. I was skeptical on the varying ingredients but they blended together wonderfully.

Serving size was also well-done, not skimping on portions and fulfilling me well.

Fantastic! I had crab cakes and fabulous Manhattan. Danica was my server which made the experience even better with her small talk, professionalism, and her smile. Meanwhile the rest of the staff was clean, busy, and kind. I will be back. Thank you!
