This was our second experience at Freestone and twice, the restaurant royally disappointed. We got there at 6:30. Ordered at 7:15 and did not get our food until close to 8:30. Overcooked and no flavor. The staff tried to apologize but what could they do. Our bill as close to $500 (with only 2 bottles of wine) for food that was NOT worth the LONG wait. We will not be trying this again.

Throughout our 9-day tour of Tetons, Yellowstone and Glacier, our 2 dinners here at Freestone Restaurant were easily the dining highlight of the trip. We ate here right after a helicopter tour at Red Eagle Aviation nearby, and this was the perfect ending to the day. We tried the chicken curry soup, bone marrow, and crab cakes appetizers, ordered drinks, and enjoyed the Bison Sliders, Beef Stroganoff, Fish Tacos and Steak. Everything was out of this world delicious. We all shared and loved every bite. The service both nights was fantastic: McKenzie & Emeral deserve praise for their attentiveness, guidance and personality. Overall, we would come back to Freestone any time and highly recommend it as Glacier's finest!

Got a reservation for 6:30. It wasn't super busy. People all around us got food we waited and hour and a half an still no food. But people who were sat way after us got food. They also stated they gave are food to the wrong table. Really bad first impression won't be coming back.

Came in with a friend for a nice dinner - was seated quickly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I love the rustic look to the area, open kitchen, and clean look to everything. Our waiter, Joe, was friendly and made sure we were well cared-for.

Their house made dinner rolls were perfectly baked, wonderful, and were well-spiced.
The bone marrow appetizer was the stand out for the evening, plated beautifully with fresh, crunchy bread and a zesty chimichurry. The flavor was impeccable and I would happily go again for the bone marrow alone.
Other than the bone marrow, the flathead fettucine was a fresh imagination of flavor, and a pleasant one. I was skeptical on the varying ingredients but they blended together wonderfully.

Serving size was also well-done, not skimping on portions and fulfilling me well.

Fantastic! I had crab cakes and fabulous Manhattan. Danica was my server which made the experience even better with her small talk, professionalism, and her smile. Meanwhile the rest of the staff was clean, busy, and kind. I will be back. Thank you!

Service was great! We did order the Himalayan Salt Ribeye & it was good but not for $70. The potatoes were cold, steak was piping hot, shrimp skewers were warm & the asparagus was cold. They did overcook our steak as well…. I ordered a medium rare & it came out medium well. As a steak lover I was not happy about that. I saw a dis h on the website that I wanted but when I got there, it was not on the menu. Sucks because I really wanted some bison short ribs. I did like the huckleberry margarita but it was a bit tart.

Just ordered a burger well done and it looks like fresh ground beef out of the packaging, horrible service and food.

Forget this is attached to a Hilton Garden. It is unrelated. Fabulous cocktails. (Especially the smoked Old Fashioned)… absolutely order the bone marrow. Steak was perfectly medium rare. Nice atmosphere and great service.

Worst dining experience ever. If I could give it no stars, I would. We are local and have restaurant experience. So we are empathetic to restaurant employees. We waited over an hour for overcooked steaks, room temperature mashed potatoes, and cold green beans. We were told two separate times by our server that it would just be another moment, but when our plates were brought to us, the compound butter on top of the steaks wouldn't even melt. I'm extremely surprised that a manager wouldn't even come to our table.

A nice addition to the Kalispell restaurant scene. Don't be scared away by the fact that it is connected to a hotel. But for the physical proximity to the Hilton Garden Inn, you would never know this was part of a larger property.

The ambiance, quality of food and waitstaff was fantastic. Took my extended family here during their visit and everyone was extremely happy with their dinner.

Here is the latest menu, looks like tax is included. The restaurant is very & food portion is generous. We have pork belly buns & trout tacos, both delicious! Service is great & super helpful. We are so so full after this!
