HuHot Mongolian Grill

I had a very disappointing experience at HuHot. The biggest issue was hygiene. I observed cooks not wearing gloves and not washing their hands between handling food. I also noticed the staff who were stocking the food were not practicing proper sanitation. That’s extremely concerning in a restaurant setting and made me uncomfortable eating there.

On top of that, the cooking station was very slow, and the wait staff also moved at a slow pace, which made the experience frustrating. Additionally, one of the shorter male staff members was rude and unprofessional in his interactions.

Overall, the cleanliness, speed, and customer service all need serious improvement. I hope management addresses these concerns because food safety and respectful service should be a priority.

This place was going downhill a year ago, I don’t know how it’s staying open right now. You have the two slowest people I’ve ever seen trying to cook the food, the grill is so cold nothing is sizzling when it’s put on there, and one of the cooks is using 12 gallons of water per cooking area to clean it, then asking why it’s not hot… they must really be hurting for employees, for a rush hour on Friday night I’m completely disappointed. Only people moving with a purpose are the waitresses, if I was the manager I’d be ashamed. EDIT: I wrote this out while waiting for our food and had to come back afterwards to add this. I just paid 48$ for two plates of cold food. The only portions that were warm were the parts in direct contact with the grill. The food wasn’t spread out, wasn’t flipped, nothing. I had half cooked meats, and completely raw vegetables. I’m not someone to be picky about food, and I used to love this place. Leaving with a pain in my stomach and my wallet missing almost 50$ is enough to make me never eat here again.

I will not be returning to this restaurant. It was expensive, and dirty. The food wasn't good and I feel like it was a complete waste of money

It was cold in there . Some things were also cold. Like the corn. Beef was tough and the noodles were undercooked.

Love this huhot! Had some issues with my card today and it wouldn’t go through but BB and Anna were amazing and worked out a solution for us! They are amazing and very sweet!!

I've been to Mongolian BBQ in other states, and this one gets it right. First time I've experienced getting 2 bowls, and it's all you can eat! One trip did fill me up, but we all know you can't get it all in one bowl! So glad to see this place doing it right. And the food was good, sauce selection was plenty, and staff were great.

We enjoyed what we ate, however, many of the food containers were empty. The serving staff were very absent, or busy somewhere else in the building. We had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, as we were ignored by the only server that we could see. The restaurant wasn't even that busy. We had to wait forever to put in our drink order, however, once we did, our drinks came quickly. The cooks were interesting and fun to watch. The food prices were pretty good. I would give this place another chance and come back again.
