Valentine's day 2026 the place was slammed and Hailey went way way above and beyond to make our evening meal very special for us. When someone is incredibly busy and still has a big smile and super nice they deserve to be identified. Raise worthy. Thanks again jagz for employing such outstanding personnel.

We both got food poisoning! This is the second time this happened to us here! The food quality has definitely gone downhill! Used to be good years ago.
Atmosphere was disappointing and not reflecting the prices. Could put up with that if didn't get sick every time.
We will not be back!!!

Place is visually deceptive. Kind of janky looking outside but very niceand comfortable inside. Service is prompt and friendly. Food was very good. Friends liked their steaks and prime rib and my wifes and mine pasta choices were tasty.
Her chicken linguini ahe loved. My shrimp with angel hair pasta had lots of small shrimp and the seasoning was properly resrained and not overly garlic. One issue was that angel hair is a tricky pasta to handle. Mine was way overdone. I think they cooked the pasta to doneness but did't take into account the hot shrimp and sauce cooked it more. The creme brule' was too cold and in a too deep ramikin. Taste was good but but not served properly.
The mens restroom looked like it was painted by a teenager on adderall.

Hailey is the best waitress! Everytime we go we get lucky enough to have her. There was one time we weren't so lucky and we absolutely missed her service, she's sweet, attentive, positive and just over all amazing. The food is good except the few times our veggies have been cold n the mashed potatoes are ok could use more flavor, we love the steaks n clams here but she is definitely why we love coming back.

Gotta say I was worried to go back there with all the bad reviews I've seen lately. We've always had a good experience there. Anyways just got back and the food tonight was excellent! I had the duck like I usually do and I'm happy to say, I was not disappointed in any way. It was fabulous!!! My husband had a giant chicken caesar salad and he said it was great!

I was there for an office Christmas party for my wife's job and this place is great. Well seasoned food. Great ambiance. The servers are there and ready at all times. I'm always a skeptic when it comes to new restaurants, but this one won me over. So much so I told the wife we're going back on our own.

I waited 5 days to write this review so I didn't go at it mad, but that being said, I still am. Went there with the family on New Years Eve, had reservations, sat down at the table right at 6:30. 30 min later we where served crusty rolls and at that time she took our drink order, order for appetizer, and our main dish order all at once. Hay that's fine, saves time right? From when we sat down it took two and a half hours to get our main dish. The sea food dish was cold (and the wife had to take it back into the kitchen to get it warmed up), one of the steaks was burnt to a crisp. When I say a charcoal briquette I'm not joking,( I should have taken a pic!) Even the waitress said that's not right and asked if we wanted a replacement, but after waiting that long to get the first one who would sign up for that. So she said she would comp us that meal and a few drinks. I will get to THAT later. Also as the empty plates from the salads and cups and bottles added up I had to buss them to the table next to use to keep our table half way clear, and this was AFTER asking if they could take some of that away. The entire night that other table never got cleaned off so yeah, added to the ambiance. The bathrooms have not been updated in decades, the door on the woman's stall is broken, there are light bulbs out all over the place and next to our table the electrical outlet is missing its cover. That is a $1.50 fix, come on! If crack house is the look they are going for, I would say they are just about there!!!! Ok, remember how I told you about the meal and drinks that they where going to comp us.....well I pulled out the receipt today and guess what. That's right, nothing was comped...its worse than that, much much worse. When you walk in there is a sign that says groups of 10 or more a 20% gratuity which would be fine IF we had a group that big, we only had 7 people. So I can honestly say the best part of the experience was leaving. They way this place is managed and the lack of updating leads me to question the seriousness of the owners on keeping this a long time staple of the Flathead or if they plan on milking it dry. The worst part is that we have many fond memories of this place going back many decades. For this price point and less there are many many other places that offer good food and great service, this is just not one of them. Do yourself a favor and look else ware. BUT...what do i know, just a life time local.

Wanted to have a nice dinner out for New Year’s and birthday celebration. I made a reservation 1 week prior. Took 2.5 hours to get food. Some of food arrived cold and another burnt. Drinks were left empty and empty drink glasses weren’t removed. Signage noted on entry said parties of 10 and more will have 20% gratuity added. We had 7 people. Gratuity was added anyway. We have had great experiences in the past, but we haven’t been here for a least a year. Very disappointed in this experience, not sure I will be returning. Several lights were out in sconces. Bathroom stalls were broken or wouldn’t lock, outlets without covers.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately my experience fell short of expectations. The service was slow and inattentive, and the food did not match the quality or price point advertised. Several items lacked flavor and were not served as described on the menu. While the atmosphere has potential, overall the experience was disappointing.

It took over 2.5 hours to get our food. Drinks were not refilled without asking. And when our food came we got a burnt steak and cold seafood. By far my worst experience at a restaurant. Will not be coming back.

Vegetables were mush, prime rib was very bland. Oysters were inedible, tasted like rotton fish, prawns were good but over cooked. Horse radish sauce was good. This place use to be excellent. Been there many times. They quit caring about the food. The owner/chef retired? It shows . Wont be back! Sad.

It’s finally hit me - Jagz is dead - no more delicious food served in a timely manner…no talent in the kitchen…no food cooked to make a lasting impression…cold food, tasteless food, expensive food. We started going to Jagz in 2004 - the year that Jeff and Amy opened it. Now I guess we need to accept that the Jagz we knew no longer exists and start searching for another restaurant that excels in making food that leaves a lasting impression and makes you want to go back for more.

Honesty so surprised! The prices on the menu do not reflect the quality of food and atmosphere. Our server was adorable, very sweet and kind! But the food? Hubby and I got ribeye steaks, both cold when we got them. Not cooked the way we asked, zero flavor. Our sides tasted like they had been reheated and plopped on the plate. The atmosphere feels like they’re trying to be fancy (hence the prices) but they’re not making it happen (hence the flannels and sweats some were wearing and mediocre food). Very disappointed. Left with a $130 bill and absolutely unsatisfied.

We chose Jagz restaurant for our wedding dinner, and they exceeded every expectation. Despite a last-minute date change, the staff was incredibly accommodating and made everything feel seamless. With our small party, they even let us use a separate table to set up our cake and cupcakes, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was spectacular—every dish impressed, but the buffalo filet mignon was hands-down the best piece of red meat I’ve ever had in my life. Jagz made our special day even more unforgettable.
