is an absolute gem here in Kalispell! From start to finish, everything about my visit was exceptional. Dinner began with a fresh salad and warm bread. My appetizer, the Clam and Dough, was incredible, the bread was perfectly crunchy, and the clams had the perfect taste. For my main course, I had the Chicken Limone, which was cooked to perfection and full of flavor.
They also have a great selection of wine I really appreciate the thoughtful details too, both bathrooms have baby changing areas, which shows how much they care about their guests’ comfort. If you haven’t been here yet, you definitely should. And if you’re looking for the perfect place to take a loved one on a date, Sauce and Bread is the place to go!

Chose this place when my dad and I were passing through Kalispell, MT. It was EXCELLENT! The first thing I noticed entering the restaurant was there was a lot of happy chatter. Great atmosphere. The staff was really nice. The menu looked great - several things K was interested in getting. We both got the spaghetti and meatballs and it was really, really good. It was the best I've had in a long tine. Nice flavorful pomodoro sauce with parmesan integrated. The meatballs were so good. The side caesar salad was great. They gave us bread, butter and oil+balsamic vinegar dipping sauce - which was so good.
Every part of our meal was GREAT. We highly recommend!

I might be a little biased… but sauce n bread is one of the best eateries in town, bringing much needed new flavors and delicious food at affordable prices to the valley. The atmosphere is fun and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, making it a great spot for any occasion (even lunch!). If you haven’t given it a try yet, you are seriously missing out!
What a wonderful place to eat. My wife and I celebrated our 16th anniversary and from the moment we arrived to when we left we were able to experience a wait staff who loved to serve, a chef who made our food with love,(it was hot, fresh, & perfect sized proportions.) it was absolutely delicious! And great atmosphere! A wonderful family owned and operated restaurant that takes pride it what they do! Thanks for a great night!

Online menu was hard to access, website wasn't linked to Google listing, they didn't answer the phone, and when we got there they had a sign saying they were closed due to a family emergency. I dont mind they had to close but communicating that to potential customers before they are at your front door would be much better service.

The staff here is absolutely outstanding — friendly, funny, and always welcoming. The atmosphere is amazing, and no matter how many times we come, it feels just as special as the first visit. This is truly the only place in the Flathead with incredible, home-cooked food that keeps us coming back year-round. Honestly, if they served breakfast, we’d be here for all three meals a day! Keep up the fantastic work — we love you guys, and so do all our friends across the valley!
