I would not recommend staying here. The rooms are over priced and very run down and smell of stale smoke. The front desk staff were not friendly at all, border line rude. There are better places in Kalispell for less. At least it is close to Moose's for good pizza!

We love staying at Red Lion in Kalispell. Comfortable beds and great breakfasts. Staff is always friendly. It is close to downtown and easy to access other areas of Kalispell. Attached to the mall for convenient shopping.

If I could give it zero I would!!!!! Lemme start with this, DO NOT STAY HERE. First of all we got here and checked the room trash under the beds and just everywhere, stains on the curtains and the room definitely was not vacuumed smelt horrible. Then we talked to the front fest about it then said they couldn’t do anything but change us rooms so then, we looked at the other rooms before moving our stuff, the room they were trying to put us in to “ please us” which they just made there case worse. Stuff was splattered all over the ways in the “ new” room. Then we have to get escorted by a security guard back to our room. RIDICULOUS, let’s just say that, the staff was very rude when we brought these concerns to them and basically did nothing to better our stay here. We finally were about to settle down and just give up when all of a sudden we saw a BUG scrawling around on the bed. Come to find out it was Beatles more than one to be specific. So do not come here you will regret spending 200+ dollars on basically a motel 6. AGAIN DONT COME HERE!!!!!!!!

location, location this is by far the easiest place to find and its centrally located to all of the best dining and shopping, everywhere we wanted to go was less than 10 km (6mi) from the hotel and JC Penny was attached to the hotel we shopped in our slippers!!! We spent 2 of the quietest nights... and I've spent too many nights in hotels. we didn't take advantage of the pool because of the large viewing areas we felt exposed but we weren't there to swim anyway. it was 26c (86f) outside but the AC kept us comfortable the whole time. breakfast was great and a good variety we weren't wanting for anything. We keep photos of the lobby and pool on our phones and friends complain they never go to fancy hotels like that... I usually tell them its cheaper then the holiday inn (unless I dont like them that much) Casa Mexico is authentic and DELICOUS our family of 3 ate till we popped with alcohol and desert the bill was only $66.00 we usually spend $50 at the golden arches these days without desert and BYOB. We also went to Famous Daves for AWESOME barbecue it was a bit more expensive ($80) but worth it, we stood in line for chickfilla, just to see what all the hype was about, I wasn't impressed, lunch for 3 was $34 ... for breaded chicken in a bun? and soggy Ole Ida Waffle fries? "Oh the sauce is soooo good" I was told, Calm down it's honey mustard... it was just meh at best skip the line and go to Popeyes for some flavour.

The staff at the counter was incredibly kind and patient. I was really nervous for my roller derby bout but the lady was very sweet. She asked if we had a floor preference, which was thoughtful to me! The room was perfect and spotless. I look forward to staying here again!

The hotel was nice, the breakfast hot the spot, the casino was fun, the location was perfect. A little disappointed that the hot tub wasn't working. Also disappointed that I upgraded to a room with a fireplace, but couldn't use the fireplace.

The ambience and accommodations are quite nice for the price point. Our bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was above average. Conveniently located near restaurants. The hotel advertises free airport transportation, which it does have, but it is not at regular intervals or on demand. Transportation must be arranged in advance, and is not guaranteed. This should be much better advertised in the listing. We were able to have a shuttle from and back to the airport, but were met with significant attitude from the front desk staff in arranging the shuttle. This really negatively impacted my experience.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted by Michael. What a great friendly, hospitable guy. We enjoyed learning all about where he was from and did not expect to be checked in by a British person all the way in the middle of Montana. Michael could not do enough for us, and made our stay that extra bit special. We will definitely return as long as Michael is there. Thank you for your kind hospitality Michael, we will never forget our time at the Red Lion.

Pleasant atmosphere. Cozy montana feel in the middle of town. Greeted kindly and professionally by the front desk. Room well equipped and comfortable. Did not tour the hotel's other amenities. Good food and shopping.

From Check in right through to Check Out - I had such a great time with my friends and family. Michael at the front desk was extremely friendly and took great care of us making sure all aspects of our stay were perfect. He upgraded our room to give us extra space and even went the extra mile and recommended things for us to do whilst in town. The housekeeping staff mainly Aisha I believe was her name - always greeted us with the biggest warmest smile. - Overall we had such a great time - we have found a place we will call home everytime we visit Kalispell - Thank you all for such a wonderful time.

Great stay at RL hotel in Kalispell, Montana. Lovely room, nice breakfast, very helpful & friendly staff. I appreciated the shuttle from the airport and the little ways all the staff made me feel welcome & appreciated. I will stay there again. Many shops & restaurants in walking distance.

This is one of the most disgusting, filthy, smelly hotels I have ever encountered. And I travel on a regular basis for work. I was only able to make it for one night. The smell was overpowering and I was choking on it. Then, when I checked out, they overcharged me, claiming that I had stolen a pillow. Why on earth where I wanna pillow from this disgusting place? Read all of the other negative reviews and they say the same things about being overcharged. You would have to be crazy to stay here

Rolled into town after 2 weeks of camping. Weren't sure where we were going to stay but found this last minute gem. The front entrance and lobby have an authentic Montana feeling. Staff was courteous and helpful. The entire hotel was immaculate. The bed was yummy comfortable and the linens we're soft and looked brand new. The swimming pool was well maintained and I got to swim all by myself!!! The courtyard is an extra Plus. Felt like home! Very close to the airport and all the dining and shopping you would need.

My family and I spent the day in Glacier National Park on Sept. 14 and headed to our hotel, the Red Lion in Kalispell, for the night. We booked the room online on June 12 and received a confirmation email the same day ($209 + taxes and fees). Upon arrival, the desk clerk informed us that our room had been canceled because “the firefighters and National Guard were holding a recruiting event and conference” in the motel and had blocked all the rooms. The clerk could not explain why we were not notified of the cancellation and said several other guests also had their room reservations canceled. Sure enough, another clerk came to help the traveler who was in line behind me and her reservation had been canceled with no notice. I asked whether the motel had reciprocal agreements with any other area lodgings and was told the only option in the region was a motel behind a trailer park and that the cost would be $500 for the night. This sounds like a total sham, right? I asked to speak to the manager and was given a business card. I asked the clerk to call the manager at home. He tried and said there was no answer. I asked if the Red Lion would pay the difference between the cost of the rooms and was told to talk to the manager when she was back on site. It is now after 10 p.m., and my family is driving to a Hampton Inn in Idaho. I only wish I could give the Red Lion zero stars since I wasn’t even able to get past the front desk. At least when the airlines overbook, they offer you another flight and some sort of compensation. Red Lion could not care any less about helping weary travelers find solutions - even when the error was the fault of the motel. I will be reaching out to the manager tomorrow in hopes of identifying some sort of recourse.
