Carlton Depot Eatery & Alehouse

Carlton depot is our go to! We have three kiddos so when we want a good meal and a “date night” we have them deliver! Shawna is awesome, food is alway hot, and we have never had a bad meal! So happy to have this option in our home town!! Thank you for all you do for our community!!

We are new to Billings area and this was hands down the best burger we have had! Juicy, tasty, and so much flavor. Hubby had the steak frites and was equally as impressed. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely check this spot out.

We were driving through to ski in Idaho. We read the reviews and decided to order dinner. The Black and Blue Burger was tender, flavorful and delicious. We ordered the fig and chicken salad to share along with the burger. It had a kick to it and so flavorful. I definitely recommend both!! We loved their story and connection with the community!! We loved to participate in the fundraiser for an inclusive playground!!💜💜

The service was great and so was the food! The hand cut fries and ranch are EVERYTHING! So dang good.

We ate here for the first time and it was mouthwatering. The service was top notch from the hostess to the waitstaff and kitchen. We split 4 apps and will be back soon to try more of the menu options. Love that they carry all Montana beers on their draft and Montana wine as well.

Waited 10 mins to be helped, tried to order a beer and was informed I needed to order food with my beer. I was super confused since I had been in 2 weeks ago and had ordered a beer without having to order food. Some people want to be able to have a beer or 2 without having to order food. I won’t be back and that sucks because they had great beer on tap

Our server was great! Recommended a couple of local beers they had and enjoyed them! ? the salted caramel brown ale is good, but the raspberry cream ale is super great. All the streaks were cooked to perfection. Definitely didn't leave hungry! Highly recommend!! ?

We love the food at the Carlton. Have done everything from staff thank you dinners to just grabbing a bite at lunch. It is not fast food prices and not "fast food" taste either. I have not tried anything that I have not liked.

I Love This Place. Causal and Fine Dining Meals So it’s perfect for a family with a variety of likes. I also had a private special event here on a Sunday and everyone still talks about how wonderful the venue and food was. It’s small town feel where we are always recognized when we visit makes it even better.
