We visit this restaurant on a consistent basis. When I'm craving authentic Mexican food and want to sit down and relax,my husband and I come here instead of the fast food places. It's always good atmosphere. The employees are super helpful and kind and not to mention friendly! The food is generously portioned and fairly priced. The hours are great and I like seeing their specials. The food is consistently cooked just the way it should be and their salsa is my favorite.
You could be right about new management since somebody finally took down the Italian restaurant decorations and replaced with something more south of the border. I however can't say the food has changed in quality so perhaps they've worked that out? Not sure they will ever be up to the same standards as the original Guadalajara downtown. I have ordered a margarita on one of the specials nights and have had better. That however is the bars fault, not theirs.
