Yum. Visiting for the night. Googled all kinds of restaurants. Wanted a steak or a burger. But affordable. Looked at their reviews which were up and down. Chose to roll with it. I had burger patty with grilled onions n gravy, loaded salad and potato. My wife had the mignon (medium well )loaded spud and steamed veggies. Just the right amount of food to get full without a doggy bag. Drinks were awesome. Jeanne was our server very accommodating and friendly. Great atmosphere....
The food is barely substantial and overpriced. The service was lazy, they treated us, as patrons they did not know, like crap, while spending time sitting at tables and chatting up local influentials that they clearly know as regulars. This must be the only way this typical small town restaurant stays busy, as I saw the owners doing the same thing. It is a terrible place to look forward to, and if you do not know someone working there, you will be forgotten on the sidelines......
Great meal! Husband had the chicken fried steak…I had enchiladas. For it not being a Mexican restaurant, enchiladas were fantastic! Thoroughly enjoyed! So many options for sides from fries to mashed potatoes to various side salads and soups and Caesar salad and rice. Amazing. Accommodates everyone’s tastes. And service was fantastic. Really impressed with the service. Very reasonably priced. Atmosphere was great. Works definitely return.
