We didn't realize it was Octoberfest when we decided to get dinner in Livingston. The streets were full of people. The Fighting Goat was packed.. but few tables were marked reserved. We were told by the hostess it would be about 30 minutes for a table. But as were getting ready to leave a gentleman who may have been the manager asked what we needed. (A table for 3.) He asked if we'd take a high top and we said YES! We were seated shortly!!!

Best outdoor patio in town. Beautiful. Had a few so/so experiences after the new owners took over (slow service, several items from the menu not available) and I was ready to give up on the place. Glad I didn't. They turned the corner after a few months, and the service, food, and drinks have been great ever since! So happy as it's the perfect place in summer (on the patio) and in the winter (by the fire). Way to stick with it and get it right! Keep it up.

Loved the Glenn burger. Atmosphere was very cool too with a sweet outdoor bar and patio area. They had a nice selection of locally brewed beers as well. Great for grabbing a drink or food.
