“We did not have reservations so we were seated at the bar. Make reservations as this was not my favorite way to eat this lovely meal. I had the trout my partner had the bison ragu both were very good. Wine list was extensive and the wine we picked was exemplary. Service and staff were fantastic. Next time we will have reservations and try the days special as folks around us at the bar were raving about it. Love to watch the professionals at work in the kitchen. We will go again at another date and time. P.s. Broken cheese cake was super.”

“We're locals and have been here a number of times over the years - as with any restaurant there can be ups and downs. Our recent experiences have been outstanding. The food, service, drinks...all have been exceptional. I tend to go with a steak, my wife is more adventurous and samples things from the around the menu - we've not been disappointed. The food is awesome, the service is laid-back and friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming with historical photos of railroad and early building in the area. Be sure to get a table near the front window so you can watch what is happening in downtown Livingston. We love the Mint and think that you will also! Highly recommend!!”

“This little spot was so charming. The decor and curios reminded me of home. I had a shot in the dark that was so smooth. Great coffee and espresso. I also enjoyed a delicious pastry, and lox and bagel via breakfast special. Was fighting my kids off for both. I own a coffee shop and bakery way up north and there is no joy like having someone else make you a delicious breakfast and cup of coffee when that’s what you also do for a living. 10 stars. Stop in and support this little shop tucked into the neighborhood on the eastside. I’m certain you won’t regret it. Thanks for making the start of my vacation so pleasant with delicious food, perfect coffee, and kindness! Merry Christmas.❤️”

They have limited hours and it’s not large space so there might be a wait, but it’s worth it to shop around downtown while you wait or go come in early before the rush!”

I had just got there and I went straight to the bar for a drink I waited for 15 minutes before I got served!! and the bartender came in stumbling looking a little drunk and when she did her rounds and asked us what we were having in the middle of telling her the drinks that we wanted she leaves us in the mid sentence telling her what I want, to go do more drinks for other people and never came back to get our drinks meanwhile staring at me knowing I’m waiting …. Being half drunk and not catering to your customers as a bartender is bad for customers service!! 1:15am Sunday morning female bartender tattoo under the eye !”

“Best milkshakes and malts ever and I mean ever in the entire USA

The burgers I had was a lot like McDonald's low end cheeseburgers..but with many more options they need to provide thicker burgers as for example their triple patties were razor thin ..the equivalent of a single normal sized patty sliced lengthwise 3 times making it a tiny burger not even as thick as say a Wendy's single..if they'd stick with the restaurant standard of say 4oz patties at the smallest and 6 to 8 oz patties for middlin to larger burgers and perhaps as big as a 12 ouncer for monster sized burgers then their burgers would be the best around but theyre still better overall than most fast food burgers ..but those shakes.. unbeatable

“Almost avoided this Taco John's because of some of the low reviews, but I have eaten here a half dozen times the last few months, and the gentleman always working there is always nice and the food is always great.

Wayne Dyer remarked "Some people just wake up looking for reasons to be offended" and it looks like there's a lot of those types of folks writing reviews for this humble taco johns like they're fine dining at a French restaurant. For those selfish/whiny folks, I'd take a look in the mirror and do some self reflection.”

“absolutley amazing crunchwraps, they were super full and super filling! plus the chicken quesadilla and grilled cheese burrito were to die for! they did forget our cinnamon twists for a second but fixed it quick.”
