They were very short handed. Our waiter was so stressed. The cook was confused, our group was two tables worth, and as we were getting our order, the group at the other table were finished.

We went in. Around 1pm on a Tuesday. All of the front room was full so we were sat in the bar area. The lighting is dim. The bathrooms are also very dark and cramped. Condom dispensers in the bathrooms and chalk messages drawn ALL OVER the bathroom walls. NOT family friendly. Our server walked past several times before stopping to take our drink order and give us menus. Then took a while to come back and take our meal order. The cold cut combo is ordered was pretty good, everyone else at the table seemed unimpressed. Pretty sure the foccacia is made in-house. Once we were done I had to call our a server over to get our check. Then took his time chit-chatting with other people ( staff and what looked like buddies at the bar, not his customers), while he had our card.

We sat for a good twenty minutes without anyone stopping at our table. Menus on the table, drinks served, and no less than 5 employees walked by our table without taking our order. Our server finally stopped and asked if we wanted to order any food... seriously? The food is overpriced, and mid... I've had better, I've had worse, seating is horrible if you have disabilities. It's mostly bar height seating; not super convenient for my disabled nephew. Just overall, not impressed. I will say that the gal that greeted us and brought our food was super nice.

The fries are an absolute must have, incredibly good food and somewhere you should 100% consider eating at. We’re visiting from Missouri and loved every bit of this restaurant.

First time eating here and the food was very tasty. They appeared to be short on personnel when we visited but the lady who took our order also delivered orders to the bar area as well. She was polite and apologetic for the time it took for us to get our order. We split a salad and shared a vegetarian pizza. Both items were prepared well and very tasty.

Such a Great place to relax! One section to quick order and the other to enjoy some sports on the big screen and great food. Passing through to Chico Hot Springs and seen the sign. Very glad we stopped.

We had a great Lunch at Gil's yesterday. Our server was friendly and competent. The food was great. We shared a BLT and each had a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup. Everything was delicious. For excellent service, great food in a pleasant atmosphere, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Gil’s was TOP NOTCH!! Happened across it while on vacation and hiking in Livingston. The service was OUTSTANDING, the food was AMAZING!!! When they say best falafel they’re not kidding, all the ingredients are super fresh and sustainable. I’d highly recommend, if you’re in the area, treat yourself to a delicious meal at Gils’s!!
