THIS RESTAURANT IS OUT OF BUSINESS. Open Table bangs on you if you forget to cancel a reservation. Why it is ok for them to continue to book reservations for a restaurant that has been closed for 2 months? Thx Open Table for leaving my group of 4 without a place to eat in this small town.
Only gave 1 star in order to be able to make note that this restaurant needs to be removed from the OpenTable network. Walked up and there was a sign on the door saying closed for business.
Restaurant closed without letting us know our reservation was no longer available. For a party of 9 on a Saturday night, this was not convenient being we are from out of town.
The restaurant closed down. Open Table left us in bad situation by booking us a a place that doesn't even exist - 8 People in small town all dressed up and no where to eat
The restaurant is closed for good, but Open Table is still accepting reservations. Don't bother waisting your time.
I had a reservation on Opentable for July 11th, 2025 and I arrived to the restaurant and there was a sign on the door that there is a special event at the restaurant and it is closed for the evening. I would appreciate better notification to your customers and that you respect reservations that you have taken. You should at least have notified your customers so they could make alternate plans. Luckily I know Livingston pretty well and was able to be seated and have a good dinner.

We love Livingston Bar and Grille! We had an amazing meal tonight and our server, Rachel, is amazing. We will ask for her next time! She is lovely and personable, fun and knowledgeable.

Took way too long to get food (nearly a hour) burger was overcooked, overpriced and my wife’s order wasn’t correct either.

This was one of the best dining experiences we have had in Montana, let alone Livingston. The Service by Rachel was impeccable, professional and warm and friendly beyond description. We highly recommend LB and G for everything, the cocktails, the drinks, the appetizers, the Entrees/// and the Service... 5 STARS ALL AROUND...

Dinner was delicious! Our server, Dean, was fantastic - knowledgeable and very helpful. We had the ahi bowl and the pistachio and panko crusted yellowfin tuna with carrots. We're looking forward to coming back!

Despite being a 'local', we went here for the first time on a slow Sunday night at the tail end of Thanksgiving weekend. We ordered the Wagyu Charcuterie and a Crab Rangoon appetizer. The exec chef came out and told us that they were out of Rangoon's and asked if it was ok if he substituted a 'chef special' appetizer instead - sure! After he asked us about our likes and dislikes out came a lobster tail with sauteed seasoned veggies. The food was outstanding - all of it. Seasoned just right and certainly not the same spin on the basics that you can get most anywhere in town. Some wine, an old fashioned, creme brulee to wrap it up. Good stuff.
I'm sure it had a lot to do with when we chose to go but it was quiet, relaxed, staff was attentive but not over-bearing. The personal attention from the exec chef all over an appetizer being 86'd was a nice touch.
One gripe. Coffee and Jamieson to top it off, coffee was from a dysfunctional french press that left me with more than few grounds to choke down. The bartender said they're all the same and needed to be replaced, I agree!

Food was excellent. The only issue with the food is the filet on the menu states 8ounce which is its raw weight I have been in the business for a long time. The filet I received was not 8 ounces to start. Maybe 6 but more like 5. I had about 4 ounces of meat to eat and I ordered medium rare and the cook was perfect. However, For the price it was, it was not worth it. But the flavor was amazing. The filet was supper tender and buttery texture. Excellent! We had the Brussels to start and then spring salads. We enjoyed them both immensely. My husband got the ribeye and it was perfect and the right size. Our issue was service. Our server was friendly but not attentive at all to the point the chef brought out our meals and noticed we were out of drinks. Had been for a while. Server came around to other tables but not ours. After dropping off appetizer we needed plates, she went to get them and never came back. I ordered the cous cous with my steak, was not on my plate and she forgot that after writing everything down. I got the standard garlic mash on my plate was and it was good. Food was delivered by the chef and he realized we did not have steak knives set and said he would get some. Didn't happen. Had to wait a good amount of time to get steak knives so our food just sat. The mixed sautéed veggies on our plates were out of this world. Again flavors were excellent. Just some of the poorest service we have had in a long time. Server wasn't overly busy and stood at the bar a lot chatting with other employees. Lighting was a bit too bright for dining in my opinion. I am also very well aware that it is hard to get workers in the industry and especially in Livingston, during the off season months. I think the servers just need better training and alcohol sales are where the money is at. Checking on tables and offering drinks etc a lot more often should be strongly suggested to the service staff.
Chef Bob and the staff were amazing! Food was amazing and dessert was above and beyond.
We had a party of 12 for a birthday dinner and couldn’t have been more impressed with the service and food. The chef brought out a nice appetizer & dessert for the table which was an unexpected but appreciated surprise! Wonderful atmosphere, staff & dinner. Thanks again!
