We ate at the Stockman bar a few weeks ago. The place is a bit run down (well used) but the beer and food was really good. The bartender was very nice too! If you like good food and an interesting atmosphere, this is the place to go.
As I’m very particular about steak when dining out, hands down, one of the best New York I’ve had. Kudos to the chef . Amazing taste, very tender & perfectly grilled. The food came to our table in a very timely manner. Very nice staff. I would definitely recommend making reservations as they filled up quickly. Would highly recommend The Stockman.
Husband had their ribeye steak, it was mostly grisly and grease. Burned on the outside and well done on the inside. ordered med-well and the asparagus was greasy. I had the shrimp scampi, it wasn't to bad, however it was over cooked as the butter sauce was brown. Also was never asked what sides we would like, we ended up with greasy asparagus and mashed potatoes drowning in gravy. the only good part of this meal was the salad. Won't stop again and won't recommend!
