Food is delicious. Kitchen staff are inattentive -- I ordered steak tacos and received chicken. They checked my receipt and replaced the incorrect items. Both times they did bring our order to the table rather than calling us to pick it up, so that was nice. The dining room was a mess. Crumbs under an the tables. Also the tables were dirty and sticky. This is one of my favorite chains in the world though, so I'm sure I will be back.
I stopped here driving between the Bozeman Airport and the North Entrance to Yellowstone. We don't have Taco John's where I live, so I was curious to try it. It's definitely an interesting combination to serve tacos with hash browns but it works! I would probably stop at a Taco John's again, I really liked it.

Waited in line for 20 minutes and moved up 10 feet. Nobody informed us what the problem was, and the people ahead of us has been in line for 30 minutes without even getting to the window to receive their food. If you are having EXTREMELY long wait times or there’s a problem causing the issue then inform your customers- this is ridiculous.

If you complain about Taco Bell, you obviously haven't eaten here. First time today, food was served fast, but taste gross. They put some kinda lime sauce on everything, does not work on nachos, tacos, or Taco salads..
Parking: Lot is small, pain to park with large trucks..
I ordered beef tacos but what I got were chicken. I'm allergic and can't eat that. And by the time I found the mistake and called in, nobody answered the phone and the voicemail was full. There were actually multiple problems with the order but that one was the doozy.

Almost avoided this Taco John's because of some of the low reviews, but I have eaten here a half dozen times the last few months, and the gentleman always working there is always nice and the food is always great.
Wayne Dyer remarked "Some people just wake up looking for reasons to be offended" and it looks like there's a lot of those types of folks writing reviews for this humble taco johns like they're fine dining at a French restaurant. For those selfish/whiny folks, I'd take a look in the mirror and do some self reflection.

Food was good. Order was delivered incomplete then entire staff (minus cook) went outside to smoke and talk with other individuals. Cook loudly stated “ you guys can’t all go outside at the same time and leave me in here, it looks bad” to which the manager replied “excuse me, you want to say that again? I’m your manager dawg” before walking back outside with customers waiting to order. Staff changes needed. Great food as always!
Taco shells were old tasting, not crunchy.
