We have been through Livingston 1000 times and never have stopped. We loved our late lunch yesterday. Local meat, fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, great service and atmosphere. Stop here
I almost passed The Sport by based on its name, thinking that it was going to be a sports bar type of place. I am glad that I did not. The atmosphere and food is more like a french bistro mashed up with a gastropub. They had very tasty dinners and friendly staff. Definitely a place to eat at while you are in Livingston.
It's no secret that the Sport has had its ups-and-downs over the years. Always a great space, now it has food and service to match. The menu is abbreviated, understandably, with plenty of good choices for both carnivores and veg-heads (your reviewer, for instance.) The vibe is so sweet, old-Montana with good tunes and pleasant, capable service. The food was good, and it came up fast! What's not to like?!
