GREAT food, CLEAN, and amazing Christmas decorations. Greeted with a smile by Julie, our very friendly and prompt waitress with waters and immediately asked if we wanted coffee and we both agreed yes, she offered cream, first time not having to ask for cream and waiting. The nearest Amtrak station to my friend's house in Montana was Malta. Before boarding the train, we made a stop at the GN Hotel and Lounge for a light lunch. I opted for the Asian Salad with grilled chicken. It was decent, nothing particularly exceptional, but I was grateful to have a place to grab a bite to eat.
Called in to order the Halibut sandwich, however they offered me the catfish sandwich since that was the substitute for halibut as they are on able to get it in right now! I thought I’d give it a try although I was a little nervous because I have never been a fan of catfish! But omg YUMMY! It was so delicious! I highly recommend ordering one. & I wish it was in the menu so I could order it in the future! If you haven’t ate lunch yet, run to the GN and order the Catfish...
