The food was excellent along with the hostess who had the takeout order ready. The atmosphere looked pleasant. Since I ordered takeout I can not rate the dine in service.

Had a great night tonight at 1889, our meal was very delicious and it had a great atmosphere. Our server Josiah b did a wonderful job making us feel comfortable, and walking us through some of our menu questions. He overall had a great vibe, and made the evening even more classy. Shoutout Josiah b.

We got ignored. We stood in the entry way hoping to get on a list or at least find out if they were full for the night. We stood there for 15 minutes and nobody even spoke to us. We are from out of town and it left a terrible impression. We finally gave up and went to Zoo Thai instead and it was amazing!

1st impression, host was very inviting, regardless of the challenges that he was facing at the time. i requested the bar, he kindly advised it might be a few minutes, which i did not object. i let him know a few minutes later, ill sit anywhere, and he sat me at an upright table soon thereafter, noticing there were 5 spots unnacvounted for.. 2 remained empty for 30 minutes and 3 the duration of my 1hr visit appetizer/drink. i ordered a red wine and the bone brulee marrow. waiter was equally kind, super guy.. only critique: the marrow was too sweet, and bread should be minus any crostini oil, due to the richness of the marrow. the appetizer was a meal. summing it up... bar seating ease, marrow...less sugar, dry crispy bread, 2 marrows, not 3. thanks

Not bad. Had a ribeye, cooked right. Different season than I use. Its a little expensive. The only thing you get with steak is Garlic mashed potatoes. You pay for everything!! Harleigh was really nice. Its on a busy corner. The sign is NOT a big one, so look hard.

I am very easy to please, but 1889 left me and my family very disappointed. We are not worried about a high price dinner if it is satisfying. 1889 was not, we will never go back. We ordered the oysters for an appetizer and we have never seen smaller oysters. My dad ordered the scallops for his meal, it looked like he received 6 scallops, which he was happy with. Turns out 3 were scallops and 3 were potatoes in the shape of scallops, seared the same way. This was very deceiving. My mom got the schnitzel and it was the thinnest and toughest slice of pork I have ever seen. It was so tough that she couldn't even cut it with her knife. My husband and I got steaks and we were happy with them. The service was great and there was no wait for our table.
