There's a kid section, funny and inclusively-friendly bathrooms, and the seats are plentiful and comfy. Best of all, it's dog friendly and I enjoyed the view from the ample windows. Best cafe on Reserve Street, in my book.”

“We are pho connesuers and even make our own at home. We try pho as often as we can from as many different restaurants as we can find. For pho in Missoula, this is the place! Every item we've ordered from the menu is superb every time. My personal favorites are the imperial rolls and the house special pho (#19). This is always our go to place for lunch. The prices are great as well!

Kid-friendliness: I have brought my eight year old, my twelve year old, and my seventeen year old. They were all treated very well and found items they really enjoyed on the menu.”

“I have never had the pleasure of actually going to the tea shop in Missoula as I live in Maryland. I found out about the Lake Missoula Tea Company from THE SENTENCE, a novel by Louise Erdrich. One of the novel's characters loves one particular tea from the company. Intrigued, I found the company's website and ordered some of that tea to give it a try. In the bargain, I ordered a packet of the Irish Breakfast Tea as well. I fell in love with the Irish Breakfast Tea, which is so brilliantly flavorful that I have for several years now ordered it from the company to serve as my daily pot of tea. “Just want to say how much the pup cones & Pet Night have meant to me & my beloved doggos over the years, particularly in their twilight years. The dogs all LOVE to get a cute lil pup cone at the special treat window they know so well. This has been especially meaningful to us recently; one of my dogs currently has cancer, and sometimes she doesn't have much of an appetite, but she is always happy to snarf down a DQ cone. Lately she's been losing more weight, eating less, and overall we were having a sad week so we went to this DQ, and w/o knowing any of that, the wonderful workers made the dogs the most massive pup cones I'd ever yet seen. It brought tears to my eyes to see my sweet girl enjoying her extra-generous treat; those kind workers had no idea what a gift that really was. Thank you so much DQ for giving us so many sweet memories over the years, it means so much ???”

“Definitely recommend this bar. I was here in 2019 and again in 2024. Great experience both times! The only difference is they no longer have the copper bar strip that keeps your drink cold, but they replace it with something equivalent. Staff are a blast, and drink prices are pretty great.”

“My friend was in town and we decided to try this place out! From the moment we walked through the door, we loved the ambiance and felt welcomed by staff. We went in at about 5:45pm and there were a handful of other patrons, but plenty of barstools available for seating. We were given menus immediately and were not rushed to order. I didn't catch our bartender's name, but they were very kind and had some super cool glasses! We each ordered a cocktail and then we ordered three small plates--croquettas (croquettes), ensalada tomate (marinated tomato/onion/olive salad), and the pan con tomate (toast with tomato). The croquettas were our favorite! My friend had the Little Birdy cocktail which was fruity and refreshing. I can't find the name of the one I ordered on their menu online but it had Sevilla orange gin, lemon and a few other ingredients. It was equally delicious and refreshing and I loved the presentation of the cocktails. Our subtotal was $35, which we felt was fair for the drinks and food we ordered. It was $10 per cocktail and a total of $15 for the three pintxos. I will definitely return to Bar Plata soon and would recommend it to Missoula residents and visitors!

Vegetarian options: Some of the small plates are vegetarian and I believe the sandwich (bocadillo) may be as well but I would always recommend confirming with your bartender!

Dietary restrictions: They have some gluten and dairy free options! I did not ask about their procedures for allergies or cross contamination so definitely check with staff before ordering!”
