Laurie and Peyton were wonderful, ensuring that we felt at home and among friends, as always at the The Keep. Our dinner items were, as usual, properly prepared, nicely plated, and delicious. “We tried the Spokane location for the first time on Mother’s Day and definitely will be back. Bread was fresh, there was just the right amount of pesto and the sandwiches were so big that they ended up being enough for two meals.”

“I love the burgers from Frugals especially the Hawaiian. However, the customer service I had from Johnathan S on Brooks was below satisfactory. I could not hear him on the speaker from the traffic. So I pulled up to the window to confirm my order. he was rude when I asked him to confirm it. then when I went to pull away he rolled his eyes at me. very unprofessional. My order was also not labeled correctly and not made correctly either. I will not be returning to that location.”

“10/10. We had asada and birra tacos, beans and rice. I wouldn't have thought my favorite tacos (and I'm from South Texas) would come from a food truck in Missoula Montana, but it seems they do. Beans and Rice were as good as the tacos. Outstanding!!”

“Love the atmosphere (outside) and the service was great. The pork and polenta dish was delicous. Pork was crispy and not dry. The polenta could stand on it's own. The salmon dish was delicous. The risotto was a little broken but that might of been because it was raining into the bowl lol. The pesto linguine with bay scallops was disappointing. It lacked depth of flavor and needed way more sauce. It was like a whisper of pesto. Scallops were good quality though.”

bUuUut... They were Out of their Bloody Mary, which was why we swung through! The bar keep was exceptionally accommodating and apologetic for the missing menu items and clearly competent in his craft.
Quality Options overall, creative with an intentional quality of ingredients.
The Toast & Jam for instance had a vanilla syrup and cinnamon bitters that brought Milk Chocolate notes playing tantalizing tricks on your palate.
The Rosy Finch hit more like a Mighty Mocaw with with the Tropical vibes of the Pineapple & Lime. So refreshing!
Docked a star... for that Lime Wedge. It was approx 7/8ths of a lime and cut with a Key... Wedged to mirror the Curve of the glass?
I'm clearly exaggerating... but not by that much.

All incredibly Positive overall and good vibes with high ceilings and plenty enough to keep the eyes well fed.

I am celiac and was hesitant to order any food but the owner said he was celiac and went the extra mile to prepare a gluten free breakfast scramble! It was amazing! So good we went back the next morning and would have gone the 3rd day but they are closed on Sundays.”

“The ice cream is phenomenal!!! The original creations and the classic ice creams are so good that I have a hard time deciding what to get!! I love going there. Today was extra special… there was only one employee mani g the store when normally there are three. My friend and I thought we would have to wait quite some time for our ice cream. Anna, the only employee there, was incredible!!! Despite being the only one there, she ROCKED IT LIKE A PRO!! She services everyone quickly, positively, professionally, and gave all of us a great experience!!! She deserves a raise or bonus!!!”

“Great place for breakfast and lunch. Love the location—you have a perfect view of the “M” and mountains. I very much enjoy their Bacon, Egg & Chz Sammies. The coconut bacon is very tasty. Their avocado toast is also the best I’ve ever had. Most of their desserts are delicious, but they’re expensive. Love their oatmeal crème pies. There is one dessert I really didn’t care for which was the banana bread pudding. It was difficult to eat out of the baking liner because a bunch stuck to it. Furthermore, the taste was very basic. Lastly about their desserts, most are a bit crumbly and would be better more moist, but the taste is still very good. Maybe it’s because they’re gluten-free? Heads up, they run out of the biscuits and gravy quick as well as the potatoes, so it’s best to come early in the day for those. Updated from previous review on 2026-08-02”

“I was so pleasantly surprised by this pizza place. It was clean, with a great atmosphere. The staff was extremely pleasant, and service was quick and friendly. Now the main star was the pizza. OMG. I’m in my mid 40’s and have traveled all over. This pizza was definitely in my top 3 pizza places ever. The crust was perfect, the sauce was flavorful and fresh, and the toppings were really generous and good quality.

Definitely my go to when in Missoula. Also it was reasonably priced.”

“I’m a long fan of la petit outer, but today I had a different experience. One (1) of the wait staff was extremely rude without a given reason to be. She was unpleasant, patronizing and snobbish! My friend and I, both older women, stopped at your “ new” location to top off our pleasant walk along the river, with a yummy coffee and treat. But encountered, not once but twice, a very unpleasant wait staff that killed the vibe. She was very rude, to the point we really wondered if we would come back. She was short in stature and wore a tube top with Bib overalls, not that that matters, (other than to bring her to your attention) but her attitude was horrendous and condescending! SHE NEEDS TRAINING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HUMAN DECENCY, OR SHE WAS JUST HAVING A BAD MORNING and couldn’t control her attitude!!!”

“I've been coming here for 30 years. Foe practically the whole time they've been open. I love it here! A lot. I recently had a coffee card debacle after they made a little mix up. They remedied it quickly, after I explained. I did it this month for reasons. Still. LOVE this place. They do it right. Every single time.”

We called and I was able to speak to a manager who had amazing customer service skills. He gave us options on what we would like to fix the issue, and was very pleasant.

We went from being really bummed out to being overall satisfied because of how they handled the situation. Will return!”

“I had some time to kill and stopped in and ordered my favorite poppy seed bagel (nice & chewy!) and cream cheese. I was told by a friend that they make their cream cheese in house and either way it is delicious and has the perfect tang. staff was pleasant and I got my bagel in a timely manner. The total was less money than I expected & I got a seat looking right through the windows at Higgins; and the hour went by before I knew it. nice atmosphere. perfectly funky for Missoula. I've been there twice and I will definitely be a return customer. Thanks!
