About The Depot

The Depot is a great restaurant for a fancy night out or a casual visit to the deck, known for its delicious food, drinks, and exceptional service. The Depot Steak and Blackened Prime Rib are highly recommended, and the blackened prime rib is often described as Vegas quality with lots of Montana style. There are three areas to choose from for dining, including a deck bar that offers a nostalgic atmosphere. The desserts and everything else are handmade daily on-site. The staff are very friendly, offering good suggestions and recommendations, and the atmosphere is light, relaxing, and comfortable. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including the popular blackened salmon and Mahi tacos, with many gluten-free options and attention to dietary restrictions. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. The prime rib and salmon are cooked to perfection, with the prime rib considered some of the finest beef around. While the main courses are excellent, some side dishes like asparagus can be plain and dry, often needing additional seasoning or butter. The Greek Martini is also highly recommended. Overall, The Depot is a slightly expensive but highly valued spot for quality food, good drinks, and attentive service.

Has a very nice old style steak house feel. I’m normally not a fan of prime rib, but I ordered their blackened prime rib; it is hands down the bread steak I’ve ever had in a restaurant. That goes to include Ruths Chris too. It was cooked perfect, seasoned perfect and melted in my mouth.

Excellent food and service.

I haven’t been back to the depot in years. Not because of anything to do with the restaurant, but it’s because I don’t go out on the town a lot anymore. I prefer my country life and quietness. However! The seating, readily available at 6:30 on a Saturday evening was spot on, the service from our multiple waiters and waitresses, was above what I remember, and of course the blackened prime rib never disappoints!! My spouse got the filet teriyaki, and she was absolutely...read full review
