“Love to come here and get cute little drinks with friends. Feels like I get a vacation from Montana crust, it's just velvet and pleasant to sit here with a cute little fruity foam drink. Some days are for Flip's and some days are for Bar Plata. And I love the latter when I have them.“

bUuUut... They were Out of their Bloody Mary, which was why we swung through! The bar keep was exceptionally accommodating and apologetic for the missing menu items and clearly competent in his craft.
Quality Options overall, creative with an intentional quality of ingredients.
The Toast & Jam for instance had a vanilla syrup and cinnamon bitters that brought Milk Chocolate notes playing tantalizing tricks on your palate.
The Rosy Finch hit more like a Mighty Mocaw with with the Tropical vibes of the Pineapple & Lime. So refreshing!
Docked a star... for that Lime Wedge. It was approx 7/8ths of a lime and cut with a Key... Wedged to mirror the Curve of the glass?
I'm clearly exaggerating... but not by that much.

All incredibly Positive overall and good vibes with high ceilings and plenty enough to keep the eyes well fed.

“Great local bar recommended to us, crowded as expected but staff was friendly and attentive. Patrons were all having a great time. A bit hard to locate if you’re just walking along the street - we passed by it several times since there’s really no noticeable sign out front. Cash only, so plan accordingly but definitely with a visit!“

“I cant give stars for the food as their kitchen was down due to a mechanical failure. However the restaurant next door... the kampfire!.. was absolutely fantastic. The bar was so inviting and humble. The bartender Erika was absolutely fabulous!.. and the live music talent is unbelievable.. Erika is super talented as well as Ian and others was a great experience and highly suggest you try it out on a Sunday. Its now my new church!.. and they host church literally every few weeks ... give it a go!“

“We got the meat lovers omelette, hash browns, toast, $12. Sausage, bacon, ham, cheese, and hash browns cooked to perfection, crispy in the outside ,soft in center. And coffee $1.25. server was friendly Johny on the spot. Don't let the outside fool you, it's older but great food.
Ok just went back today, Dec 12, we were told they have a new cook, I got two pancakes, they were thin and a little rubbery. He got the meat lovers omelette, the hash browns not crispy looked a little soggy and omelette. It as good and our server was busy chatting elsewhere a lot, won't be back“

“Great bar, great options, with beer, cider, and seltzers. M-80 just outside is a huge bonus! Plenty of space and a good atmosphere plus a great downtown location make it one of the best spots in town!

“Fun place to stop if you enjoy an iconic tourist trap. The gift selection is vast and leans nostalgic. I always find a nice assortment of tacky postcards which makes this place worth the stop. The bar is fascinating to see. Didn't eat or drink here so nothing to add on those topics.“

“Drinks were good and the bar keep was really nice with awesome service. Did not have a "bar" atmosphere type feel to the place. It was still a nice place and fun to hang out. Drinks and karaoke were a lot of fun. Drink prices were average.“

“I came here at 9 o’clock on Saturday, when the regular crowd usually arrives. I sat next to the piano where this guy, Billy something, was between songs and ordered my usual gin and tonic. I started French kissing the glass, to be honest I was a little hammered.
I says to the guy, “Son, can you play me a memory”. Being all cryptic and stuff, but I wasn’t really sure how it went. I think it was sad and sweet, and I knew it complete, when I was younger.

Then John walked in, and be bought this piano man’s drinks for free. I was a bit jealous of that. He was pretty witty and also was smoking for some reason, didn’t think that was allowed. But then he walks over to Billy, and says to the guy, he says “BILL I BELIEVE THIS IS KILLING ME”. Pretty shocking stuff. He started ranting on about how we wanted to be some big Hollywood big shot fella.
Paul was there too, rich real-estate fella, and Davy from the navy, and the waitress was super political for some reason, but “based” as the kids say these days.
There was this business fella in a suit who I’m pretty sure was high, and all of these fellas were putting bread, like loaves and slices and rolls and stuff, into this jar on the piano. I didn’t really understand that but I’m sure it’s a Missoula thing.“

“LT was our server, absolutely wonderful, helped us as soon as he saw us, the younger guy behind the bar didn't even acknowledge us, or say he'd get somone or help us in a minute. The food was amazing for what we thought was just a dive bar. The floor could use a better cleaning but everything else was ok.“

“Love this place, strong drinks and reasonably priced middle shelf whiskey. My favorite dive, the real neon red lighting always makes me feel at home. The vibe definitely changes constantly but it's always fun to stop in. It's just as good with a couple of regulars chatting at the bar or standing room only on a Friday night. Oh, and you can get food until midnight if the Whiz Kid is open.“

“5$ cover but told it could be as much as 15$. We came on a Saturday with a live DJ. We are from out of town and told this was the only “club” for dancing. First bar you walk up to only had one server and took a while for drinks did not know about the other bars around the corner. It was busy, music was great and the bass was excellent. Lots of fun with a group of girls.“
