“Always top notch food, and courteous staff!!“

“Great place for breakfast and lunch. Love the location—you have a perfect view of the “M” and mountains. I very much enjoy their Bacon, Egg & Chz Sammies. The coconut bacon is very tasty. Their avocado toast is also the best I’ve ever had. Most of their desserts are delicious, but they’re expensive. Love their oatmeal crème pies. There is one dessert I really didn’t care for which was the banana bread pudding. It was difficult to eat out of the baking liner because a bunch stuck to it. Furthermore, the taste was very basic. Lastly about their desserts, most are a bit crumbly and would be better more moist, but the taste is still very good. Maybe it’s because they’re gluten-free? Heads up, they run out of the biscuits and gravy quick as well as the potatoes, so it’s best to come early in the day for those. Updated from previous review on 2026-08-02“

“Never had an issue here. The cookies are consistent, I know what I’m getting and they always taste great. The employees actually acknowledge your presence and as an added bonus they act like they care. Which is much better than the familiar eye roll that says “you interrupted our conversation and now you ask for things as if I work here”.“

“I’m a long fan of la petit outer, but today I had a different experience. One (1) of the wait staff was extremely rude without a given reason to be. She was unpleasant, patronizing and snobbish! My friend and I, both older women, stopped at your “ new” location to top off our pleasant walk along the river, with a yummy coffee and treat. But encountered, not once but twice, a very unpleasant wait staff that killed the vibe. She was very rude, to the point we really wondered if we would come back. She was short in stature and wore a tube top with Bib overalls, not that that matters, (other than to bring her to your attention) but her attitude was horrendous and condescending! SHE NEEDS TRAINING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HUMAN DECENCY, OR SHE WAS JUST HAVING A BAD MORNING and couldn’t control her attitude!!!“

“Outstanding bakery goods. Visiting MT from the CA Bay Area. Stopped inside for some morning baked goods and they both were fabulous (biscuit with jam, spanakopita). Not at all normal for me but went back the next day for more fabulous baked goods. I had bought cookies on my first trip and am out of Missoula now just trying them. They are wonderful as well. This spot knocks it out of the park! So glad I checked it out while I was in town. I’ll be dreaming of return visits.“

“I had some time to kill and stopped in and ordered my favorite poppy seed bagel (nice & chewy!) and cream cheese. I was told by a friend that they make their cream cheese in house and either way it is delicious and has the perfect tang. staff was pleasant and I got my bagel in a timely manner. The total was less money than I expected & I got a seat looking right through the windows at Higgins; and the hour went by before I knew it. nice atmosphere. perfectly funky for Missoula. I've been there twice and I will definitely be a return customer. Thanks!
